President's Address

Hello fine nations of the UCN!
It has been a few weeks now since you confirmed me as your president and I would like to say once again a big thank you for placing your trust in me to carry the torch from Austrin who did a wonderful job in a difficult time.
Our RMB activity has been steady and I’m most happy that it has remained respectful and often thought provoking. That is a real strength of our region - that we challenge each other in a loving way.
I’d also love to take a moment to promote our prayer board, if you need or want prayer for anything I’d highly encourage you to use it so that your online community can surround you in prayer.
As always, if there’s something on your mind my telegrams are open to you.

Since my election as Speaker, the House has been relatively quiet. We have had one piece of legislation come through which did not pass. I have been working with the President on if there will be legislation for his agenda and when that can be expected.
I am also still looking for a couple of members for the Joint Legislative Review Committee, so if Representatives are interest in this, please TG me to apply.

Courts Update

For the first time in recent memory, the court has been fully seated. Gideon continues to serve as Chief Justice, while Christadelphians and Austrin have rejoined the bench.
World Assembly Update

The WA has just undergone significant changes. Each member now has the ability to accept or reject passed legislation. To maintain good standing, each member must approve 80% of legislation.
As part of these changes, an elected WA Secretariat has been established. The inaugural elections were held, and five members were elected. Gideon made it to the top 25 of the first round and advanced to the final round. Although he wasn’t elected, he received several regional endorsements and provided a faith-based option for all WA voters.

The Ministry/Department of Home Affairs is going well! We have had minor events such as the WA Card Raffle and we have launched the Prayer Board for all UCN members to use! Things are a little busy right now because of circumstances outside of NS, but communication between all Departments and different branches is going strong!

World Assembly Secretariat Elections Held

Inaugural elections were held for the World Assembly Secretariat. According to its official page, 'The World Assembly Secretariat is an elected body of five nations who publish voting recommendations for proposals and resolutions.' The winners of the election & members of the Secretariat are:
Varanius - Secretary-General - The West Pacific
UPC - Deputy Secretary-General - Europeia
Merethin - Secretary - Starlight
Islandwalk - Secretary - The North Pacific
Moduland - Secretary - Ridgefield

The results show a strong turnout for Feeder regions and large UCRs that hold a largely pro-WA voice with significant institutional experience. Of note was the 6th place finish of a communist candidate and 7th place finish of a fascist candidate.
Of note was the performance of our WA Delegate - Gideon who placed 18th with 28 votes in the election's first round out of 141 candidates. The second round saw a decline in support finishing in 21st place with 22 votes.
Christian Regions Engagement Guide Underway

A resource called the 'Christian Regions Engagement Guide' is underway, intended to provide a guide to UCN officials, residents and the wider NationStates community on likely engagement experience with Christian regions. The guide is currently a work in progress.
Regions are included where their name, branding or identity is clearly Christian. Assessments are based on a region's conduct, culture and safety, not its theological orthodoxy, denominational identity or political viewpoints. Differences in doctrine, tradition or social ethics are not grounds for negative classification.
Assessments consider whether a region promotes respect, maintains a welcoming environment, discourages harassment and bullying, and rejects hatred, extremism and discrimination. Regions that advocate fascism, racial supremacy, misogyny, hatred of any person or group, or other harmful conduct may receive cautionary or negative classifications, regardless of religious identity.
The is work is authorised by the Regional Security Measure approved by President Autius on 21st June 2026.

Regional Security Measure: The measure is for the UCN to assess the risks and threats posed by various Christian regions on NationStates and for the findings to be public.

We should start a news paper.
We used to have one here, but nowadays we are less active than we used to be, I'm afaird.
ALL RIGHT
so you are going to have to download some mods-
first and most importantly is Essential Mod this mod allows java players to join each others world.
also super importantly is Infinite Ikea mod this is so we can actually have our infinite ikea. (mod requires geckolib so make sure to download that as well.
next we are going to add Disable Chat this disables chat, (oh me gosh WOW!) but how are we going to communicate? I decided a proximity voice chat mod would work well, after all I want a little mystery, but we still need to communicate.
Lastly are two mods I just really like Sound Physics Remastered and Players drop heads
Okay, so What you need to do is telegram me your minecraft user name and then I will send you an friend request and invite via the essential mod.
MAKE SURE ALL YOUR MODS ARE ON FORGE 1.20.1!!!!!!!!! IF THEY ARE NOT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY.
