Early on in life my family had a demonic encounter in an old home of ours. We kept feeling weird, having odd dreams. One night I was dreaming and in my dream, I was sitting on my bed and looking at my phone, when I noticed what looked like a man in his mid 30s with a suit on, black hair, and red eyes. The man walked by the door and I looked at him and we locked eyes. In that moment I woke up, sitting up, looking at the door. My mom many years later told us that some family members had come by to collect things left behind by the previous owner, who they said had killed themselves in the shed in the backyard. We had two dogs get seriously sick in that house, and one of them died. Was part of what always sparked my interest in such things, and a reason I was never ah atheist

this reminds of a book that I had a while back. I think it was goosebumps, and back then I was terrified of it. So after a while I threw it away, and I didn't even tell anyone that I did and made sure that it was gone on trash day. About a week or two after, it just appeared on my bed, leaning on my pillow. I told my parents about it and asked them if they did it, and they denied doing it, same with my brother. I was really creeped out about it and, like a smart person in a horror movie, burned it. the next day,, I crap you not, it was back on my bed. turns out I still have the thing, and its about a vampire chihuahua or smth. turns out I just kept it after It came back for the second time.

A colony ship of Thrúdians from Commonwealth space is seeking refuge in the distant realm of 
The United Terran Empire due to damage sustained to their former host star during a border conflict with the Freywynn Central Authority. News outlets have covered the brief exchange since day one, which perhaps inevitably led to the Thrúdians loosing control of the system, which the FCA claimed due to past colonial holdings in the region, prior to Thrúdians gaining space travel capabilities. While frontier conflicts between commonwealth states are not uncommon, this is one of the more significant ones in modern history. Representatives of all members are planning an emergency meeting to discuss restoring regional peace and to ensure the commonwealth continues to prosper.
