Well, what do you two Middlesex towns want to know about Beverly? We've got a lot of cool places, we've got the gardens, and we've got the coastline too!

Cool places are pretty subjective. While we might not have a zoo, a mall, historical battlegrounds, a university, or a whole bunch of warehouses like some of our neighbors do, we still have some "cool places" of our own. Coastline is fine, but we have the Mystic Lakes, as well as several other ponds to fulfill all our nautical desires. We also have the Fells for walking around nature if that is more your thing. What does Beverly have that makes them different than the rest?

Well, for starters, during President William Howard Taft's administration we were the Summer Capital of the United States! His first house was on Woodbury Point where our public Lynch Park is now, and his second house was called "Parramatta" and is still there today at 68 Corning Street! Now today we've also got the Cummings Center, an international office and business park housed in the former main plant of the United Shoe Machinery Corporation (which once monopolized the shoe machinery business in America)! To boot, Beverly has two colleges, five train stations, and an airport! Now we're happy you're content with your Mystic Lakes, but we've got access to a multitude of beaches and a whole ocean to fulfill our "nautical desires." And don't get us started about the historic details. ; )

We have far fewer historical houses, little business and "only" 2 commuter rail stations. People care about Winchester due to our top notch education system, one of the most successful in the US.

Our population is reaching 25,000 now, our high school has been rebuilt, and the restaurant they mention isn't around, but this video can show you two how great Winchester is.
Even found some nifty drone footage

The EnKa Fair took place this weekend, Winchester's annual street fair, attracting people from all around the region. Does Woburn ma or Beverly have any street fairs?

RIP Bev. And probably Woo too, soon enough.

Sure is lonely here on the Massachusetts RMB now that everyone is gone...
