[quote=penns_woodlands;12608488] My country is new to the region, however I take a very proactive stance in world matters. With that being said I am curious to PAs WA participation and also the notable lack of a WA delegate. I would appreciate it if someone could bring me up to speed on this.
Thanks

Apologies for inactivity. Busy teaching in community college in RL
But am looking forward to returning to Erie in 3 weeks :)

I came and went -- but Erie in late July / Early August was fabulous! Even as I was there mainly to help an older cousin of mine move into senior apartment living from her 3-bedroom Northeast Township home, I could still indulge in eating sponge candy, Smith's hot dogs (with natural casing) at Sara's, and hot freshly-made pretzels at the Plymouth (while also drinking Mad Anthony Wayne Red Beer); plus walk the Peninsula multiuse trail, and avoid the rush at Splash Lagoon with the new wave pool at Waldameer.

Back home teaching community college in south Louisiana, the memories of Erieland remain warm (until the first snowfall in October ;)

Happy New Year

Welcome back once again, [Greengarden Lanes].

Hello

Monongahela, PA resident here.

I have ties to the Allegheny County area. Had not lived there in so long. Probably changed a lot since I had been there.

Hope everyone has had a great summer so far. Over the past week, I have made my annual trip in RL to Pennsylvania :)

My dear brother in northern VA gave me his second car last week (a Subaru Impreza WRX), and was quite pleased to take the Turnpike from Breezewood to Warrenville without any need to slow down for curves. Indeed, the PA TPK was quite a decent drive (especially for me the first time experiencing a direct interstate connection from the Turnpike to I-79 instead of having to go through suburban Pittsburgh neighborhoods).

While it has been great to be back home in Erie, I seemed to have brought up my south Louisiana weather in tow (with highs all week in the mid-80s). The rain today cooled us off just in time for my departure back south :(

[Yet I will have one last breakfast at a dinor before I go -- till next year ... :)

Wondered where that came from. ;) LOL My family is from the Pittsburgh suburbs so that would not be such a bad drive for me.
