Quelsh and Australia Post
Happy Australialia Got Featured Day, my fellow Australialians.
There's been a lot of flag-waving where I am, doubtless in celebration of Australialia Got Featured Day, though it seems like its mostly American flags. I guess it's easier to come by American flags here than it is Australialian flags. Still, though, I'd think the effort of getting the right cloth would be worth it. To each his own.
You beat me to it you animal
dam!!! you got me archedenin
if I was in the WA I would vote for Australia Post

hello everynation:
monthly auspost update:
- standard mailing rates in regions 4 and 8 are now reduced in price until further notice due to an unfortunate accident where an intern at the central sorting/planning commission accidentally added an extra two 0's to our annual repurposed demilitarized high-speed mail delivery helicopter order.
- new august 2026 stamp design, featuring the architectural wonders of the sortroom 87A 'leaning tower of pidgenholes' is now out for those savvy collectors, remember to hoard these disposable cardboard cut-outs early and often! Satiate your primal urges!
- we are proud to be returning discounted seniors and children tickets to our highly attended 'a history of shipping pellets' exhibit at logistic hub 12(a)(iv). Grab yours today for only 5 standard rate first class stamps!
- due to the ongoing quelshian civil war, we are sorry to announce the death of 12 of ausposts frontline delivery drivers (and, more importantly 1.23 tons of parcels). the recovered remains of the undelivered packages were buried at sea on-route to sorting facility 1(a), and the parcel tracking numbers will be forever immortalized in stone on the west wall of the tomb of the undelivered letters. The Postmaster will be unveiling the inscription this coming Friday.
this concludes the auspost monthly update.

That’s a lot
is the territory of Auspost its facilities or its operational reach?
or is it more of an NGO
Hello everynation:
monthly auspost update:
- The most recent renovations to the sorting hub 61(d) "hall of stamps" has been deemed structurally defective by the internal review subcommittee of the Australia Post Board of Directors due to its failure to accommodate the recently discovered stamp entitled "1983 triple canceled antarctic archipelago misprint". The entire building has been marked as condemned and is slated for immediate demolition. Estimated project completion time for the reconstructed hall is 10 years.
- At a hearing before the Board of Directors, the Administrator of Postal Enforcement, David Williams has admitted that he has "completely failed" to ensure that over 12,000 mailboxes have confirmed with postal regulation 18(3)(s)(iiv), and that thousands more mailboxes may have been incorrectly approved as valid mail receptacles without having those cute little flags that go up when mail gets delivered. Recent insider reports indicate that the Postmaster is prepared to accept his resignation to the board of Directors within the week.
- The recent mailbombing of sorting hub 29 has been claimed by the Terrorist group the Coalition of Underground Radicals for Insurrection, Extremism, and Revolution (C.O.U.R.I.E.R.), with its leader, the self-titled "Dead-Letter King" stating that unless his ransom is paid "No further messages will be sent." The head of the combined offensive operations sub-department within the Office of Aggressive Mergers, Lt Col. Rosalie Nean, has been briefed and will issue a statement shortly.
- The international publication of the widely acclaimed "monthly auspost update" has created a social media phenomenon in the Australialia RMB with hundreds of thousands of rabid fan responses in utter captivation every word of the article. To further fuel this parasocial relationship the press office has decided to respond to just one of the literal millions of posts in response:
((Great question! I like to think of Auspost directly controlling a very small microstate-sized territory where the ruling elite administer the corporation and which is actually truly 100% sovereign. Its not prime real estate and I'm sure it was bought off some Tyrannical 3rd world dictatorship, but its home :^). Auspost has various warehouses, shipping centers, archive locations, facilities etc which are owned and occupied by the company but which are not sovereign and must conform to the laws of the host nation. Its like the Vatican. Auspost should have a cohesive structure and mostly consistent practices and proceedures ala McDonalds, but im sure what happens in region 3 is different from region 5 etc...))
