Welcome to The Great Chili!
TGC was original founded in November 2012 by friends Senoheir and Wabacha.
Ultimately it fell extinct in May 2013 due to disagreements between the two on where the region should go
Eventually it was refounded in July 2014 by Synnadine, another friend of the two aforementioned nations and a member of the original TGC.
For better information on our region please refer to the pinned dispatches below, especially if you intend to roleplay at any point.

No. No you won't.

Wabacha wrote:About 15 feet away the woman stops, tilts her head, and lowers her sunglasses with a finger to look Lydia up and down with a rather disapproving look with her amber eyes. "Mosei (baby), darling, do you even know what fashion is out here? Poor thing, you're how old and still dressing like a bumpkin? Don't worry about the humans darling, I'm just keeping our little girl's chat between us."

The woman, whom Lydia can now identify as Kishian from her appearance and the slow heart rate readjusts her sunglasses and checks the nails on her right hand. "A girlfriend of mine came through here recently, within the last couple months. Small little thing, likes to cause trouble. Likes to pick fights."

The woman gives her a pouty little smile. "Ring any bells?"

OOC: I had a sneaking suspicion she was either Synnadinean, Pureblood, or both.

BIC: A Synnadinean? Lydia rapidly processes the situation to herself. Not good...even if she's only a century old she might still be better than me. Could she have been sent by the Nation? No, Roy is right, she might not even be a vampire in the first place...still. Too many things I'm not certain about to be confrontational with this . As long as the situation doesn't turn south I just have to play along...

Naturally the question of this woman's 'girlfriend' immediately brings forth memories of her encounter with -REDACTED-. Lydia has no idea who that girl was but she remembers her face and the entire encounter clearly, but...she's also fairly certain that what she remembers isn't the truth. But it's the only thing that fits what this woman is asking about. Despite her own doubts as to if what she remembers is even the truth Lydia answers the question plainly and confidently. "I hit one thousand last century if you must know, and yeah. There was a girl. Teenager back on December 14th. Attacked two of my people right here in this motel, no idea why. She was strong...wasn't able to beat her but I did fend her off. No idea where she ran off after that. Brown eyes, amber hair. Wouldn't call her small though, she was pretty average from what I remember. Probably could've traded clothes with her if I wanted and would've fit fine. Pretty soft facial features. Still sound like your girl?"

ZOCOM wrote:The Zero's candid mention of King Bach's condition was something of a curveball... But Overload did have this sort of outcome steadily being constructed in the back of his 'mind'. He had already questioned himself and voiced his idea to the room before he was ignored twice. This was a dark situation. The king of the Wabachan people being compromised like this was now hazardous for the continuation of his objectives.

"This changes things.." Softly muttered the VI in a cold tone.

Overload thinks on the King's fixation on the duel with the Oni King. The influence the King was under had his mind solely focussed on that. Why was that? Was whoever is influencing the King looking to spread their influence to powerful beings? Was the influence already spreading? How can he even begin to search for the source of such an influence?

He considers for a moment that he may need to abandon his chance to be upgraded with Wabachan technology. But this surely rash decision gets pushed aside, it was superstitious nonsense. Such a drastic action isn't necessary. He doesn't need to worry about integrating their technology, even if there was some malicious code he would be able to handle it. He was confident in himself.

The VI looks to Sam after a moment of mentally running several scenario's given this new information. He had no idea whoever else was compromised. But... He went with his gut. The Likelihood that Samuel's nature as One of the First Men must grant him some sort of protection seeing as he too must have been exposed to some of the same environments as Wudlund has in the past few days given is connection to Duncan.

Sam could be trusted.

At least for the meantime.

This Zero, while having aprised them of this new revelation, may not necessarily be free of influence. He was a Zero after all. That made potentially all the Zeroes a danger to leave unsupervised... More VI fractal instances will now be formed and devote their runtime to watching all Wabachan personnel for suspicious and 'out of character' behavior based on general profiles.

"With the King compromised like this... I cannot entrust Zocom's survival to him any longer. How will you proceed, Sam? The Wabachan King is your friend. I will be leaving shortly." With Wudlund's fixation on the duel. He needed to head out into Oni Territory to perhaps see if he could gain insight on if this was an isolated case. Or if he will need to take more severe measures to ensure Zocom's survival.

Sam's eyes flash with the fire of rage for just a moment but disappears just as quickly. Outwardly he holds himself together and responds calmly. "You could say that again. My question is who could even do that...? I was pretty sure Wabachans were immune to mental abilities since they're one of the only humanoids vampires can't compel." Sam looks to Overload. "I think the vampire we fought might be responsible, somehow. He was far removed from any vampire strain I've ever encountered so it's possible he has mental abilities that lets him influence even Wabachans. And if that's the case there's not really anything I or anyone else can do beyond keeping him here and away from the fight. Since it's not exactly his choice driving him right now, guess I'll help with house arrest. For now, at least."

The recognisable look of anger, the rise in body temperature and escalation in heart rate. A roaring flame brough to hushed embers in moments. This level of restraint was impressive, but it was hardly the time to say so. It certainly crossed his mind that this new breed may have the ability to do as Sam theorised. "My hypothesis yields a similar conclusion... Your 'unique' situation must have protected you in some manner. Whether that is true would need to be verrified.. But not likely possible." It would also align with his earlier musing about why that Vampire Assassin left them alive after the detonation of Sam's attack. "Perhaps this was part of their objective... What an interesting mystery we appear to be uncovering. A vampire with the resemblance of Wudlund's Royal transformation, said vampires ability to alter causality and inflict mortal wounds on beings capable of immeasurably fast regeneration. And now, the King's compromised state... Someone wants the King to achieve some object to their unknown design." Overload's synthesised voice almost sounded as if impressed. Like he was absolutely enthralled with this mystery despite its immediate danger to his goals.

Wait. Was there any footage of them actually seeing the Vampire's appearance? Besides his back to the camera before the fight largely moved into stopped time? Even the VI's manner of speaking was off. Perhaps Sam’s mind is too focussed on Wudlund’s situation to really think of such a thing.

"I will take my leave then if you have the King's wellbeing well in hand. This platform is needed elsewhere... I shall be investigating the only other connection we currently possess." Overload began to move away from his meat based compatriots. “The Oni King may yet hold some unseen piece of this puzzle. If you have need of me, I have devoted a separate runtime of my program within the main security hub of the Palace. I am sure both of you possess clearance.” That would be all that he had to say to the injured hero and the Zero before he vanished down one of the corridors. Leaving yet another interesting mystery to this situation. All the while a camera overhead does pan towards them once the VI's platform has left their line of sight. Likely to emphasis the reach of Olly's reach of vision.

"It certainly does. And it looks like she had fun rewriting your memories. Oh, I'm sure that's a real b*tch to deal with." The woman pulls the sucker out between her pouty lips with a pop. "Maybe that hunk you were talking to noticed which way she went."

I think the hospital could leave off there, unless either of you have something else you want to add to it.

Also John if you want to do anything with Kirk in the undead city before he heads to the capital, I left an opening.
