Australialia Regional Message Board
I was reading through the old Saint Helena Island series we did together, and it was a very enjoyable read! I might collate the forum posts with the posts from the RMB, and curate it into a more cohesive set of stories. In its current state it is a patchwork of different writing styles and formatting (and some power imbalances due to minor godmodding) - which is quite endearing and honest of course. But if I can curate it well enough, I think it will be a nice little archive of the creative abilities of several of this region's members from back then. Also gives me a chance to finish the story!
It would be cool to do a similar thing with the various RMB wars fought largely in Quelsh in the past, but I think it would take a qualified historian to trawl through our RMB posts and collective factbooks to come up with even a vaguely accurate recollection of those conflicts.
I wonder if you can hire a historian to do that for you?
Forgot to mention telegrams as well, as I know that multiple telegrams were sent regarding war movements - unfortunately a lot of those will be lost to time, and even more I will have not been privy to
The weird thing however is what is no longer "canon" and changes in both a country's behaviour and the person behind it. One of my first posts here called somebody an asshole and now I'm several years older, several years wiser, and several years queerer with a country whose military capabilities are passive aggression, fictional carcinogens, and boats.
I'm also not the only one who's factbooking paints a picture of a Glengo that isn't Australialian, but I suppose I could develop IC Glengotearoa (still a thing) more. Like with awaking my sleeper aid workers in Quelsh again now that the Serbocharger has left once more
To be fair I think everything predating the so-called third or fourth Quelshian War was fairly nonsensical, probably not worth trying to turn into a narrative either as it lacks any kind of substance.
What do you mean by this? How would this affect me writing a combined history? Do you mean to say that you haven't been apart of regional events?
What I mean is that my factbook history doesn't delve too far into Australialian involvements. I've had my roles, but nothing to the degree of people with militaries and other involved matters. It would only impact how often I come up, I suppose.
I do remember I served as a mediator over telegram exchange for some Tox-Andermor conflict while in a different city.
Ah I get ya. Yeah if its military stuff you won't be featured very prominently. More civilian matters, however, you would be. Both you and Pacifican fall into that category. Both of you also have very well fleshed out factbooks, so save for me creating an Australialian directory of factbooks, I think your lore etc. is in pretty good nick and easily accessible.
yeha haha i the uhmm
we will see if a comprehensive documentation of qulehsin hisstory can be made (sinse its dont made sinse with all the cilv wars otterwise)
