"Now what?"

Toku also has her clones distracting the mages.

Plum uses magic to examine the cottages and to see if there are traces of anyone being here and is very intrigued by this...

"It seems this dungeon is very unique."

---

The master opens a door leading to the rest of the students.

"You can evaluate them yourself if you like."

Siphon quickly begins draining the mages of their magic, which is unexpected to the mages and they begin to panic and retreat. Siphon casts paralysis spells on them and soon has drained a huge amount of energy and she turns around and slays the lead monster with a single bolt of magic energy that slams it against the wall of the tunnel so hard that it instantly is crushed to death. Upon accomplishing such a monumental task, Siphon collapses to the ground. Luckily, the area is now monster and mage free...

————-

Plum instantly notices that their are some residents nearby, but Morgana’s concealing spell hides the two of them from sight so the residents haven’t discovered them yet. Morgana grabs Plum by the arm and motions for him to be silent as they sneak into the town square, where they see some mages putting armor on some of the mole monsters and buffing them. Morgana glares at them but sneaks into an alleyway and performs an eavesdropping spell that reveals that the mages and the creatures have a symbiotic relationship and depend on one another, as the monsters provide the manpower to dig out the tunnels to avoid the desert heat and the mages feed the monsters crops and also buff the monsters.

Toku rushes over to Siphon and starts transferring magic to Siphon to heal her...

"How are you?"

----

Plum immediately starts to think of the calculations needed to collapse the tunnel and keeps on observing the mages...

They see 24 students of many different species including Kitsunes, Pingus, Sentient animals and miscellaneous humanoid species who look at them when they enter...

Siphon groans pitifully...

“That was...a tough battle...do you think that we can reach Morgana and Plum? I sensed a large amount of magic coming from those holes the mages were coming from, I’m assuming that’s Morgana’s natural magic energy.”

Siphon is exhausted, but thanks to her agility and skill, she managed to outsmart the monsters and is relatively unhurt.

———

Morgana blinks as she notices mages fleeing and they hear that a “crazy unicorn” killed the lead monster and 20 mages, and the village soon calls a mage militia and several monsters to finish them off. Morgana whispers to Plum.

“We should probably distract them. If Siphon and Toku killed the lead monster, they must be exhausted. They won’t be able to fight back...”

(Morgana is slightly underestimating Toku and Siphon.)

———-

The unicorn mage nods to the students and the teachers split up into groups to determine the talent of ability of the students.

Toku nods and is ready to teleport.

"Tell me where to teleport so we can regroup."

Plum nods and starts collapsing this part of the tunnel whilst pulling the mages to one area.

"This should do."

---

A few students stand out among the others.

Siphon frowns...

“I sensed magic over there...”

She vaguely points to a hole in the wall where the mages came from.

“Shall I cast a concealing spell just in case?”

———

Morgana turns into a dragon and quickly targets their crop fields of mushrooms, causing the remaining forces to try and stop her. The little mage village is in an uproar as their entire community is being destroyed and their mole companions have been slaughtered by the hundreds...

Three students are in the separate tier and a red skinned girl who is extremely talented in fire magic looks at them...

"Are you here to admire my great skills?"

With the political turmoil in the LUS reaching unbearable heights, the Lulamoonian immigrants in the country have formed factions of their own for different purposes. Worried about the dangers of the scumbags, a possible sneak attack from the Pingus, or an attack from Dogetopia being imminent, various Unicorn groups have formed gangs in cities to “protect non-Magic users”, but some gangs have shown thuggish behavior. Pegasi squads have teamed up with Earth pony immigrants to form their own gangs as well. While some immigrants are forming gangs, others have joined the official LUS military and still more have formed political parties, such as the LLCP, LLMP, and the LLDP, none of which are mainstream. A very small group of powerful unicorn mages have formed militias. No gang violence has broken out yet, as each gang appears to be sticking to their own territory.

LLMP

LLDP

The Government of the LUS is concerned that these groups may destabilise an already volatile situation and the NIB is tasked with monitoring these parties and gangs. Then, the LCS attacks a LUS town called Fort Plumper...and the Lunarian Civil War begins...
