The Holy Kingdom of Agadar is a gargantuan, cultured nation, ruled by Santa Claus with an iron fist, and notable for its avowedly heterosexual populace, anti-smoking policies, and sprawling nuclear power plants. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 31.06 billion Agadarians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, although Education, Healthcare, and Environment are also considered important, while Social Policy and Welfare aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Dunstanton. The average income tax rate is 65.1%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Agadarian economy, worth a remarkable 4,029 trillion Agadarian guilders a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, highly specialized black market in Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 129,730 Agadarian guilders, and distributed extremely evenly, with practically no difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Senior citizens can usually be found doing heavy manual labour, public nudity is compulsory, adults hang around outside comic stores to ask kids to go and buy magazines for them, and citizens who fail to follow the official national religion are executed. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Agadar's national animal is the Bat, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is the Church of Agadar.

Agadar is ranked 14,499th in the world and 56th in The Western Isles for Most Beautiful Environments, with 1,261.36 pounds of wildlife per square mile.
