Heist of the Century!

This evening, shockwaves of news broke over the airwaves amidst the Frisik public's captivation with the ongoing World Cup and hockey season. It was revealed that the vault of the Grand Diamond Exchange in Súdhagen's Diamantdistrikt (lit. Diamond District) had been penetrated and robbed of hundreds of diamonds, gold, silver and other types of jewelry. According to eyewitness and insider reports, of the 180 deposit boxes in the vault, 159 had been forced open. Each was made of solid steel and imported copper, with several series of electronic and physical locks on each box.

Though the Nasjonalepolitiet has declined to disclose too much information about the current operation, observers estimate the total stolen to amount to roughly $111 million ACU, making it by far the largest heist in Frisik, even quite possible Westerran, history.

From the known details thus far, including some grainy CCTV footage from the Grand Diamond Exchange itself, those responsible for the heist included an elaborate crew of at least nine well-equipped robbers, who seem to have meticulously planned the operation. The heist comes at a poor time for the Nasjonalepolitiet itself, with holidays fast approaching and significant amounts of manpower being dedicated to controlling potential football hooliganism as a result of World Cup events.

Hyechon has seemingly mobilized up of 200 aircraft to partake in what it deems "usual drills"- seemingly in response to drills being undertaken by Valid. These drills involved saturation bombing, long-range air-to-missile strikes, anti-air practice, and general flight hours. Being directly supervised by the Supreme Leader, this training display was televised for the whole world to see.

More Exercises Begin As Apparent Showdown With Hyechonese People's Armed Forces Continues
A Joint Training Operation between the 10th "Boar's Head" Mountain Division and 82nd "All-Armadan" Airborne Division has commenced, showcasing the Crusade's ability to quickly dominate a mountainous battlespace to deploy heavy equipment and M-SHORAD capability (10MD); as well as light infantry and airdroppable vehicles (82AD) into the difficult environment. The task force executed several objectives, including setting up mobile artillery batteries with precision fire capability, operating M-SHORAD and long range air defense systems in tandem to take down aircraft (targets included outdated helicopters and fighter aircraft turned into target drones using conversion kits.), as well as offensive and defensive operations from both an uphill and downhill position. The exercise was hosted no less than 300 miles from the DMZ to avoid provocation from such a large troop deployment.

After Frisemark’s devastating forfeit to Hetairaea in the World Cup following a series of continuously escalating fouls against the Frisik national team, Frisik fans voiced their anger with the results by engaging in rioting both outside the stadium itself and back at home.

In Frisemark’s densely populated Hvalfangerensbugt (Whaler’s Bay) region, cities such as Hagenav and Súdhagen have authorized the deployment of the Cantonal Gendarmerie forces to aid in restoring public order.

Today, Sunday July the 16th, Hestia's Chief Inspector Sonomiya Kasumi, Shangri-La's General Secretary Erishna Balmroa, and Hetairaean Administration of Tourism (HAT) chief - Mediator Nishima Kitaki have officially signed a humanitarian aid package worth 300 billion Nudes (~$921.3B) in total for the country of Stronosti. This package is distributed as a trust fund accessible to the Stronostian Departments of Health, Education, and Transport, to be approved and withdrawn on a by-project basis with supervision from the Nightingales' Hestia and Hypnasia divisions.

In return, the HAT requests that country of Stronosti will sponsor a Hetairaean-backed advertisement campaign to entice local residents of Stronosti to visit and emigrate to Hetairaea, with a target of 1,500 more Stronostian emigrants to Hetairaea within the next 365-day period starting July 16, 2023 compared to the previous 365-day period ending in July 15, 2023.
