*Newsy takes the mic*
Greetings everyone,So like welcome to The Times summit. This is the first time this has happened in NS history. It will be a great summit with many promised events so here we are let me Invite our Deputy Editor Snn uncovered on the stage.

*Snn uncovered takes the mic*
Some say that the power of news comes from its sources, its readers, and it only takes one reader to change the course of a source. And in many ways, that note is correct on all accounts. The news provided different insight on events that happen all over the world. This is no exception to NationStates. The many different sources provide insight along regional happenings whether that is from the North Pacific straight-up going in on a WA proposal at the table, an state-leadership affair in the Greater Middle East, a coup in the East Pacific, raids happening all over the world, someone finally getting into their regional senate, or just international affairs, the news will always be there to provide a valuable asset to every story; reporter insight. It is for this reason that news sources become all the more valuable by the day.

It doesn't matter if it is a news service like TheNewsStand that travels around regions providing the inter-regional news, a service like SNN which has a portion for two RP world, a portion for WA, and a portion for role play around the world, or any other news source from the world. There are things that make them different, but there is one thing that makes them remain constant and full of facts. Reporters. And reporters that report facts and not opinions. This is something that many who read the news should value dearly. Because you will definitely have biased sources. you will have fake news sources. You will have sources that don't report facts and only facts. However, those are incredible. You cannot use them as valid sources if you spot it.

That's why you are all here today. You are reporters. You are civilians who love news. You are news sources... You are the nations of the world that value the facts in news sources. It is for this reason that I welcome all of you to the Times Summit! I'm SNN, and if you need anything, contact me or my staff through either Snn uncovered or Snn newsbooth. Now I would like to Invite our Founder and Editor The times editor.

*The times editor takes the mic*
Greetings Everyone, Today is a memorable day a memorable beginning. In October 2019 that's Last year we all witnessed that The Times was created and it was a mere, new, inexperienced Newspaper. Today I proudly say we are a Network. From one editor we are Multi-Editor. I promised that today we will talk and hear great personalities and a inside view is what we all will witness. They all are here, but I am not going to tell who they are. You all can see now the News World has many Newspapers and channels we are type of Newspaper and channel. Today is a historic and memorable day. In history today Australia was Created, United Nations were Established, Japanese Soldiers Surrendered, European Central Bank was created. So today is indeed a historic day and so in NS we make history as today is the first ever News Summit. Today we are going to release our First Times role play Magazine, we have today songs, Speeches, Interview. A indeed historic day. We are the fastest growing Network. We have our exit polls and whatever we predict happens.
SNN and Times have came together as our Formula goes like this:
Role play + Pure News + Many Features= The Best Newspaper.

Now well as far as we know today top people are here so without any further delay let's get a mood. I ask Assistant music director to get the mood here. So ladies and gentlemen Assistant music director is going to sing the song sung by Kalpi called as "Raiders".

*Background Music is ready and Assistant music director has the mic*
I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid
I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid

I find so many people far too hasty
But You're Simply Tasty

The fairy drops deep as does my sausage.
I never Raid, 'cause to Raid is the Friend of bossage.
Beyond the walls of NationStates, life is defined.
I think of Raiders when I'm in NationStates Update Time.

Hope the ancillary got some dictionary.
My itinerary don't like no dirty contemporary.
Run up to the cherry and get the arbitrary.

I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid
I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid

On NationStates WA Update Time
What more could you ask for? The Quick fairy?
You complain about Dirty.
I gotta love it though - somebody still speaks for the ancillary.

They're called Black Hawk
They walk around the regions
And Talk like like a Friend
But who knows, when the time comes
They mock with their Army

The Hawks only know Catwalk
On their crosswalks
I'm gonna lock them in an Airlock
Coz it's their only Dead Lock

I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid
I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid

Dirty, coward, bumpy, like a Spy
Hey Raider, I tell you, I thought you were a hi.

When I was young my Friend had a region called pie.
I was kicked out without no fly.
I never thought I'd see that lie.
Ain't a soul alive that could take my Friend's I.

A stunning pixie is quite the trixie.

Thinking of Raiders. Yaz, thinking of Raiders

To the head poured on the day you left
Mic is in my hand, his manners I hit
Tha bacardi you can let the record label sitting
While that mean I change regions like socks

Hey Raider,
Dirty, Bad and Evil
Coward and Cunning too
Are the Qualities of You

I find so many people far too hasty
But You're Simply Tasty

I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid
I like the Way you Run
I like the Way you Raid

The Lights were Dim
When I walked In
Blazers were slim
Beard got Trimmed

She Smiled When she saw Me
It was the Casino
The Place where I sleep, The Place where I wake
From my Pockets I took out Ego
And threw 'em on the table
Thoughts running through My Minds
Like an Optical Fibre Cable

The Lights were Dim
When I walked In
Blazers were slim
Beard got Trimmed

Baby Come To My House
To Disneyland Paris
There's a Pool on My Terrace
I'm a Pop Star, I believe in Love
But Not In Marriage!

Whenever I take up the Glass to Drink
I feel like I'm on the Brink
Of the World....
The World seems to be shrink
Baby you look cute
With your lips coloured pink
In the waves of eyes I gonna sink
Your Wink..Your Wink..Your Wink
Got Me Killin'

Yeah! Yeah!
Razor music!

The Lights were Dim
When I walked In
Blazers were slim
Beard got Trimmed

Baby you don’t have to be the last one standing
Girl show me, you could be the one
You burn it up like Summer
Baby Come Closer
Let me Discover

It's Pop!
Skrrt!
It's Razor....

The music were awesome, but that's not the end this is the beginning. We have so many founders,Delegates and few Ministers too! So now I would like to Invite The Founder and Chief Environmental Ranger of Environmental Protection Council that is Greenwaters to tell us his view on pollution.

*Greenwaters takes the mic*
Hello everyone,
LinkPollution is a major disturbance and great annoyance in our world as it is the leading (and probably one of the only) leading causes of climate change although some would argue that the Earth is experiencing something natural as the Ice Age is ending, but this is speeding up that process significantly and therefore putting our lives in danger. . As we all know, Africa sadly isn't as developed and on par with HDI as other countries in Europe and North (not central) America which can be a good thing and a bad thing.

Because Africa isn't as developed yet and energy and electricity isn't readily available throughout the continent. Poor infrastructure, but also at the same time, not enough infrastructure and here's why: things can change.
If the first world countries all chip in along with the UN and other charities, then Africa can be like paradise, especially now when the world is changing and evolving around environmentalism, thus the energy and electricity can be easily produced by renewable resources and clean energy instead of dirty fossil fuels as it would be VERY cheap and easy to convert and establish it in Africa. It is easier and cheaper to build new things in Africa than anywhere else on the planet and so, building proper and clean infrastructure that will help the environment and be sustainable would be easy, especially in non-developed cities and towns.

We can stop Africa into turning like developed country carbon consuming super-bots and instead work with them to ensure that their nations are strong and sustainable, all while doing it for cheap due to the labour costs there being cheap. If we put aside our differences and actually help other people and nations out, then it would go a long way as we humans, especially in the developed nations are too greedy for money. I am not speaking about everyone, but I would say some of us are without any doubt and at the end of the day, there can be the Indian race, the Chinese race, the Russian race and the German race, but everyone will always remain as and be connected with one big race: The Human Race.

*The times editor takes the mic*
Now we all heard name called as Africa and its a true problem that the only cure for pollution is use natural fuel not fossil fuel. Now lets move and now coming on stage let me Introduce in front of you all the World Assembly Delegate of Africa Realm of abbadon.

*Realm of abbadon takes the mic*
Hello everyone, I would like to offer you all a humble greeting from Africa.

The last year has been eventful for our region. We have reformed after the original founder disappeared.
This has given the region a rebirth, and I'm glad to say that we are thriving.

2019 also saw the rise of the Assembly of Regions; a group that Africa was a founding member of and is proud to be such.
It has opened up much more communication between regions, allowing for a richer RP environment that has made the community a much more interesting place.
If there are any regions here who are not members of the AoR I encourage you to join us.

On behalf of myself and everyone in Africa; we would like to thank The times editor for welcoming us to this summit. I look forward to a grand 2020 with all of you.

May the Mists guide you Well.

*The times editor takes the mic*
Next coming on stage to deliver his speech he is a man of word let me introduce the World Assembly Delegate of Union of Justice he is The emerald union.

*The emerald union takes the mic*
I would like to begin by thanking The Times for hosting this summit and bringing us delegates and founders together. We are very appreciative of the connective inter-regional networks, such as The Times, that continually allow us to interact with and form relationships with each other.

As we face a new decade, our responsibilities as regional officers are ever-present and ever-growing. In the past several years, the entity of regional leadership has transformed quite a lot. We have come from the days of Assembly voting and officer appointing to a level of personal involvement in our regions that many of us might not have considered to even be possible when we first rose to office long ago. In this past decade, we as regional officers have learned to innovate in many unique ways to improve the lives of our regional citizens. As we look forward to the new decade, this innovation must not stop. We as regional officers must continue to provide regional support and improvement for the citizens whom we serve. This will mean creativity, thinking outside of the box, experimentation. This will also often mean failure. But we have served long enough to know that failure is never an end. Failure is simply a step to achieving success. No person's actions are initially and sustainably perfect, and thus we must trial and error to succeed.

Looking at today, many of us see dark times in our regions. Perhaps membership is falling, divisiveness is growing, activity dwindling. But, in spite of all of the worries we may hold as to the fate of our regions, we must look to the future with hope. Hope that will motivate us to improve our regions and lead them to a bright future for all. I will be honest, 2019 has been a difficult time for UOJ. Our regional leadership has seen trial after trial. Test after test of our strength and leadership. During this time, it was the hope of a better future that allowed us to carry on as leaders. New leaders, you are coming into a new decade. Live hopefully and fearlessly. Listen to your regionmates and never forget to be wrong every once and a while. Your terms of office will not be perfect, do not worry. The future holds greatness for you all. Reach for it.

Once again, thank you to The Times for hosting this event and my fellow officers for their continued leadership and regional friendship. Peace be with you.

*The times editor takes the mic*
Its really inspiring to hear such wonderful speeches. Now the next speech is from the Founder and current President of The Free Nations Region that is Crystalsummer.

*Crystalsummer takes the mic*
Hello there;

I am Crystalsummer, the President, and Founder of The Free Nations Region! It has been my home for nearly 4 years. We have a lot to offer in our region, and are looking for members! We have a joint roleplay system with our great friends in St Abbaddon! Being invited to this very important summit by The times editor is greatly appreciated by myself, and my government! I enjoy reading the Times newspaper when it comes out. It really gives a detailed news on regions that these big newspapers never seem to cover. We need a voice who can project our news, and get our information out there. I am pleased with the growth this paper has made over the last few months. Running a UCR is no small task in NS. You deal with different cultures, backgrounds, and much more. As a founder, I learned to be very open, and approachable. While you have your government to run the region for you in some cases, they always change out, and are replaced eventually. As a founder, you are never replaced. You are the lifeline, the defender, and the one they look to when the region is in need of guidance. I like to offer some of my wisdom I’ve learned over the years. Your citizens are what make your region successful. They are the ones who know how to improve your RP, tell their friends join here, and much more!
Thank you to the Times for letting me speak, and I want wish everyone here a Happy News on behalf of The 𝔽ℝ𝔼𝔼 Nations Region government, and citizens! Thank you!

*The times editor takes the mic*
At start I said its a memorable day and today with one more NS strongman and the key of Lasagna introducing the Foreign Minister and Home Minister of Lasagna introducing United nations organisation

*United nations organisation takes the mic*
Greetings to all from lasagna,
First I am thanking The Times for such iconic event. Its pleasure to see The Times bloom. I am proud to say that my Lasagna has progressed from a small full of puppet region to a big and developed region. Still puppet nations are concern for us,but we are really doing good. Now I am not really interested in going all out politics, but well interested in going all out diplomatic. Our Government implemented NRC to get rid of puppets and make a clean list of legal citizens. Now there are few parties opposing it. NRC was for development of region. NRC means National Recognition of Citizenship. NRC was implemented and still we didn't got result which we expected. The Green Reform Party itself has filled the NRC form, but is creating a Anti-NRC propaganda. So hardly nations have filled NRC form.

Now Reign of terror merged with us and The Green Reform Party opposes that also by saying that "Its just a way to ignore main problems of region".

Our party established a Proper Constitution and during that time also The Green Reform Party opposed it. So I doubt their actions. Anyways thanks for allowing me to speak Thank you one and all.

*The times editor takes the mic*
Now is the Time for telling who are our special guests yes you hear it right we have 2 special guest,One of them is our chief guest. The special guest is the Founder of The NewsStand and The Embassy he is The newsstand. Our Chief guest here today is The Chief Executive of 10000 Islands he is Markanite. Yes you hear it right! So without any delay we are taking an interview of The newsstand and MR. Markanite.

Interview with The newsstand

What was your motivation that lead you to make The NewsStand?
I had just created a new region, and recruitment was slow. I thought it might be nice for new members to have something to read while they waited for the region to grow. So I looked around for the most interesting dispatches, and gathered them together. I then realised that writers were creating some awesome work, but very few people read them. I decided to create The NewsStand dispatch as a way to bring authors and readers together. This way authors got more readers, and readers got more choice of publications. The region was a late addition. It was a way to allow nations to use their dossier to bookmark the dispatch, and a way to add embassies, linking them to the news.

We all know that your main nation is All Wild Things,so What do you feel about your so may projects?
Sadly I don't have as much time and energy to spend on projects as I'd like.

Sometimes they can get to the stage where they feel like a burden rather than fun. Last year I put the NewStand on hold while I figured out what best to do with it. It's back now, but with less frequent deliveries to embassy RMBs. It's much more relaxed now, and I take more time to see what's going on in the different regions before I post.

The Sands hotel and casino is awesome. We're lucky in that some great role players took an interest, and brought our RMB to life. All I have to do is turn up every week and run the games via a poll. I'm proud of our track record. We've been going for two and a half years, and have a good mix of regular and new "gamblers".

In June I run the annual Royal Ass Cote. It's always a good laugh. The premise is that players enter a donkey into a race. They get their friends to cheer for their donkey, which encourages the donkey to run further. The donkey that runs the furthest gets crowned Ass of the Year. In practical terms, all the donkey names are listed as options in a poll. Players then have to get as many real life people as possible to vote for their donkey - which is surprisingly difficult.

Of course, there have been some dismal failures too. Like the Orienteering challenge. No one even managed to find the starting point!

The Embassy is it one of your projects and if it is then what are your thoughts on its progress?
I joined The Embassy just over a year ago. The founder had CTEd, the place had been raided, and defenders had just liberated it. I helped two of the residents to password protect the region to keep it safe from future raids. At the time, The Embassy had just under 1800 embassies, and defenders had diligently been clicking buttons to stop them all being closed. A year later, we have over 4000 embassies, and we help provide useful info to new region founders. So I think we've done quite well. The problem with the region is that it really needs new residents to bring life to the place. But there are very few people we can trust enough to let in. If raiders took over again, it would only take three days for them to close all the embassies, and so destroy the purpose of the region. A few years ago, it was a crazy, happy, active place. I don't think it's likely to ever be the same again.

The Times Newspaper, The Independent Newspaper, Nationstates Today and you we all rejected NationStates Media Rating Corporation as it was biased even if it gave us the best quality, So why don't you start something like that?
I'm not going to make much comment about Media rater or Nmc founder. On first glance, the concepts that they each had looked OK on paper. On reflection, putting either of those concepts into practice was likely to unintentionally stir up some bad feeling somewhere.

For my part, I just enjoy the creativity in NS. I don't want to rate it. In the past, however, I did turn down two newspapers from being in the NewsStand. One was six sentences of unformatted text. I sent the author some links to other papers, and suggested that they try and make their paper more like that. I hope they took that suggestion and tried to improve, but I've a horrible feeling that I just put them off.

The Embassy has been acting as a region to connect all new regions to old region it works like an organization so don't you feel you should make it a organization or should be as it is?
I'm not sure what you mean by making it an organisation. I think it works okay as it is just now, but could be better, as I described earlier.

Which Newspaper is the best according to you?
I'm a sucker for cartoons. I don't think there's been a Breakfast Courier for a long time, but they always included a cartoon.

Thank You for the Interview

Interview with Markanite

How do you feel after begin Commended by Security Council?
Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who voted for the Commend. It is an immense honor to be commended by the nations of the World Assembly, I will continue to uphold my values and represent 10000 Islands to the best of my ability. I'd also like to extend my personal thanks to Kuriko and THX1138 for authoring the resolution, for them to work collaboratively and author this resolution means the world to me.

10000 Islands is doing a really great job by going Anti-Raiders so what is the Foreign Policy against The Black Hawks and Lone Wolves United?
Our Foreign Policy remains the same towards all raiders/invaders, we stand against this practice unequivocally and will endeavour to help regions and their communities who have been unjustly raided.

Now I will come to a topic of great Concern we all know that 10000 Islands has an Embassy with The North Pacific and as far as many know The North Pacific's Army is associated with The Blacks Hawks so as the Foreign Minister of 10000 Islands are you going to put some diplomatic pressure on The North Pacific?
Kuriko, our regional Delegate has been working exceedingly hard on deepening our relations with The North Pacific, in her capacity as our 'Foreign Minister' she has raised this issue with The North Pacific and we look forward to continued progress in this area.

Few Citizens of 10000 Islands told me that you are putting diplomatic pressure on Europeia to stop its Invasions so is it true?
I, specifically have not been contact with representatives from Europeia regarding invasions. I will however reiterate 10000 Islands and TITO stands against raiders and invaders, as a defender region our goal is to stop invading and try and help as many regions as we can. We don't engage in conversations with raider regions as that can likely be futile.

Now I am coming a bit personal, The whole NS knows that Kuriko was the nation that proposed to commend you so outside politics and diplomacy how is relation to you?
I have had the pleasure of working with Kuriko for many months now, her passion for Nationstates and 10000 Islands is perhaps unparrelleled and she works tirelessly, daily for the good of 10000 Islands and it's inhabitants. We are truly blessed to have Kuriko as one of our own. I value Kuriko as both a friend, am privileged to be working with her and cannot thank her enough for the work she has done.

We all have seen the hard side and diplomatic style of Markanite so do you have a soft side and personal views on 10000 Islands?
I'd love to know what the hard side is, I thought I've been quite fair haha!

*coughs*

10000 Islands is my home, it has been for many years. I was the first region I joined and the community welcomed me with open arms, I've made it my mission to ensure our community is secure and will always be open, inviting and friendly. You only have to speak to an Islander to recognise that it is a special community, full of amazing individuals. The fact that a community can come together and accomplish so much is still staggering to me.

I have the honor, privilege and duty to serve as 10000 Islands' Chief Executive and the weight of this role is not lost on me, there is a pressure to ensure that I do not let the Islanders down but that pressure is even greater when you consider that these islanders are my friends and I hope I will not let them down as I fulfil my duties as Chief Executive and Commander and Chief.

What do you personally feel about Communism?
Personally and politically, I am inclined more towards the centre. I've read theories and evaluated case studies on communism and I am unsure as to how it can ever work practically.

What's your own diplomatic stance on The Black Hawks and what you feel about Red Back?
My diplomatic stance on the The Black Hawks remains the same as my regions, I will stand against invaders unequivocally and will always do my utmost to defend the innocent regions of the NS world.

Thanks for the Interview

30|12|19 Roleplay Magazine

by The wicker islands

Issue 01

Best Nation For Roleplay
Republic of Callaxium
I'm gonna be honest right now, callaxium put in way too much effort into his factbooks, he really truly genuinely deserves this award. His factbooks are clean and simple yet with every sentence you can tell just how much love he put into them. He even went so far as to put them into french so they can be read internationally. My personal favourite would be his Callaxium Valor Guard although his factbook on callaxium technocracy is also good

Best Region For Roleplay
Democratic Republic of Southern Africa
Their legal rp is honestly impressive atleast in my opinion. I love their dedication to security and stability within the state with their Supreme Court and extensive legislation pertaining to offenses both political and civil within the region.

Best RP in Best Region
As I've said I love the legal rp within the region and as such that will be the main focus in this section.I would say that the best legal rp within the region would be their Anti-Corruption Act for it's robust quality and length especially compared to other dispatches within the region.
