I just had a kid knock on my door and ask me if I wanted my front and back yards mowed for forty bucks. He was young so I didn't laugh at him and slam the door.
And we're back.
Wow, forty bucks. I remember doing it for five.
Inflation man.
It takes me about forty minutes to mow everything. That kid wanted to be paid a dollar per minute. If I could get a dollar a minute mowing lawns I'd start a landscaping business.
It's inflation, McDonalds as a kid I could get a meal for 5 bucks, now I'm lucky to get it for under 15 bucks
I've got an elderly neighbor whose lawn needed mowed due to the service she usually uses flaking out on her. So I mowed for her. She gave me forty dollars.
I don't know what's going on anymore.
Maybe it's the standard rate of mowing these days?
