If you had only told us sooner of this issue, we could have sent a far faster traveling, intelligent space torpedo to his nation. I'm sure it would have been quite willing to reestablish communications. Or explode. We haven't figured out yet how to get them to want not explode until told to do so. Oh well.

Not to sound like an old man, but I remember when we had damn near 50 nations in this region.
You mean: 76th independent bn, Aptheros, Aravael, Arkillian, Dalkrin, Darkparadise, Goose hunter(he was just a tourist), Light unending, Manticore reborn, Nightchill, Sartinaynian, Sennara, Sgt malcolm reynolds, Terra colony authority, The andorran admiral ,and The belgian admiral. Well those are just the one's cluttering up my dossier. The silent knight is still active. I don't think the guys that raided us count.
Hm, must have been before my time (here), those 50 nations, or my memory is failing me (which also happens quite frequently).
Odd, if a ceased nation reappears in Lazarus, isn't that supposed to feature in the regional happenings of its last regional residence (i.e. here)?
@Zerconus: I'm not sure my (cat) repair team could be persuaded to take place into a torpedo. After all, we're rather peace-loving and a torpedo does not exactly fit into that category. Also, there's a slight case of claustrophobia.
I started adding nations to my dossier after the refounding, I know I missed several. Most of the CTEed were just 28 day wonders, their here for 28 days then you wonder where they went.

I think that was before I got here. NS has been on a long slow decline for years, some of it is due to other games and some from all the raids, coups, and other crap that can make up regional politics.
The is a new feature establishing embassies with other regions, I have no idea what it does but if you have a region you think we should have an embassy with please suggest it. I have already sent a request to Discordia.
Are there any other Firefly-related regions left? We should set up embassies there.
I think we're it. There aren't even very many Sci-Fi themed regions left.
There's Stargate, Star Wars, Star Trek, Death Star, The New Emprire of Gallifrey(they're passworded, it looks like they were raided), Whoniverse. There's a bunch of regions with space in their names along with all the planets.

Been on a little recruiting drive, Vargr Corsairs, or were you looking for new places to set up embassies?
Embassies, I would hope everyone knows that generally you can't recruit outside of feeders. I remembered that some Hitchhiker's fan regions were the Featured Region a while back, and thought that if they were willing to open an embassy they might be good neighbors. I tried to recruit an old timer that was once known here as JossIsBoss and is now using Geese juggling, but they're happy with life in TRR.

@Vargr: tbh, I'm not particularly fond of the Stargate region, but that's because of my own experiences with them. Everyone there was paranoid and new players were harassed and banned from the region, which is how I eventually came to Firefly in the first place. At least one player went as far as bringing his alternate nation into Firefly to continue his verbal harassment on our board.
So yeah. TL;DR: I'm opposed to any alliance with that region.
There's no delegate in Stargate so we can't have an embassy with them. It almost makes me want to have a friend that plays the Battlestar Galactica game to invite lots of people to join NS and move in to Stargate.
