is this IRL or just a made up thing on NS
It was created by the General Assembly, yeah.
Our nation has had FTL travel for a while now and would be happy to send an adviser to the WSA
Can you strap on some explosives on a rocket and send it to those bureaucrats instead? Just asking!
I feel like the author of the WSA resolution should be barred from posting resolutions for a while, because he's already drafted one on Irritable Bowel Syndrome requiring bathrooms on every street corner. He's also threatened to push for another WSA resolution.

Nevermind, he has been ejected from the World Assembly for multying. His alt in the WSA Region is being ridiculous and claiming that there isn't any proof that Bitely was ejected for rule violations, when the mods have said it themselves. I feel like any proposals coming from him will be laughed off the floor in a heartbeat, if he is ever even allowed back in the building.
howdy just punched in Texas and here i am
Welcome!! Glad to have ya here!!

**** New WA Resolution Notification *****
There is currently a new General Assembly Resolution at vote. When expressing your opinion, please note for which Resolution. And remember Texans, your individual vote does count!
The new Resolution is called:
"Repeal "World Space Administration"
A resolution to repeal previously passed legislation.
Category: Repeal Resolution: GA#336 Proposed by: Tinfect
Description: WA General Assembly Resolution #336: World Space Administration (Category: Education and Creativity; Area of Effect: Educational) shall be struck out"...
<see page=ga for full text>
Ok, this one qualifies as an Insta-Repeal™ since this one passed less than 10 days ago. Texans were unanimously against the original for a variety of reasons, not the least of which were the numerous grammatical and spelling errors. We were against it because it is too vague and too costly for most nations to get any value from it. Furthermore, like the Repeal author, we do not think we need the World Assembly to have space travel. There are other points in the body of the Repeal that may assist you in making up your own mind. As a reminder, the issue here is the REPEAL of the existing law. A vote AGAINST this Resolution means you are in favor of the existing law and do not want it repealed. A vote FOR this Resolution means you want the law off the books. NewTexas will go on record as FOR on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.
If you would like to take part in shaping the world you live in, please vote. Voting is a right and a privilege, please consider using it. And, if you are not a member of the World Assembly, we strongly encourage you to join.
All WA Member nations please vote. Please make your opinions known in Texas by 11:00pm Wednesday and in the World Assembly voting booth by 11:00pm Texas Time on Thursday the 30th. Current voting in The World is running - Votes FOR: 6444 Votes AGAINST: 2082
Big Tex
PS: Remember, be sure to vote at the World Assembly too!
For the repeal.
Thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality everyone

Hahaha, no problem. Actually I'm curious to know who is the Antarctic member of this multi-cultural region.
Well, there is Studly Penguins, and penguins live in Antarctica... *cue dramatic music*
Or PatrickStar who clearly lives under the sea.

Where am I from or where do I live? I'm from Texas, but live in New Zealand (NOT Australia!).
Haha, thanks!
It must be nice to live in New Zealand.

Happy Empire of Power Defense Day to our friends from Texas. And thanks for that help so many years ago! ;-)
Excuse me, I live under a rock in the ocean. There's a difference.
It was 12 years ago today that the great region of Texas came to the defense of a small region under attack by invaders. Without your help back then we wouldn't have become the 10000 Islands we are today. To all Texans, thank you for your help 12 years ago & your friendship today!
Sincerely,
Grub
