1: I think it’s edgy and unoriginal when you can really use your own symbols. I understand some people want to do their own like, sort of fictional but set in the real world authoritarian nations, and that’s ok. The symbols and ideology themselves though are not usually handled or used well, and the nature of the regime is glossed over.

Understandable for 1 and 2, but I was talking about Socialism, not authoritarian nations in general. Democratic Socialism is okay tho, right?
