Union To Expand Port of Indium Due to Expected Shipping Boom
INDIUM - The city of Indium is the third largest in the Union, and is considered the crown jewel of the Union’s western coast. It is also the second largest port in the Union, surpassing three others in just the past three years.
The Union reports that much of its trade, especially from the eastern parts of the world such as the Saltstil Pact, will arrive to the western coast of the nation. And with recent arms and fossil fuel deals, there has been a massive increase in trade in the Union. The port, constructed in the late 1980’s, is in need or an expansion and renovation, and the Department of Nautical Travel has began a project, employing various private companies in the Union to create infrastructure. This will be a major boost to the local and national economy.
TIFAS Considering Supply Drops in Tethale
PINAL CITY - TIFAS, or the Trident International Foreign Aid Service, has reportedly considered conducting humanitarian supply drops in Tethale.
The nation of Tethale, ravaged by violence and civil war, may be the new destination of foreign aid. With TIFAS reportedly “prepared to expand the scope of it’s operations”, the organization may operate air drops of humanitarian supplies such as meals, clean food, medicine, first aid, and even large generators.
Over course, permission from the Tethalian government to conduct these missions and use airstrips within the nation must be retrieved. TIFAS has made a request to the nation.
If it is approved, a force of around fifteen high load airdrop planes, each capable of dropping hundreds of pounds of goods, will be flown to support the population.
TSRO Announces New Changes To “Strategy”
CRYSTAL CITY - In a press statement, the director of TSRO highlighted a plan for TSRO, which would increase speed and decrease costs of the program. Currently, all steps of research, development, design, manufacturing, transportation, and launch in the Rijgaba Vehicle are conducted by the organization, but there are now plans to “outsource” many steps of the equation.
Uniquely, this new plan will strengthen the Trident economy by providing new business deals to various companies. So far, TSRO announced almost two dozen separate deals with domestic businesses, uniquely including smaller private companies, a move which is rare under the current administration. It appears the decision was made through a vote in the Scaffolding Voting System, potentially through a proposed bill.
This includes the manufacturing of around 45% of all parts in the rocket, though this percentage is expected to go up. Transportation, logistics, arrangement, equipment, and more have already been outsourced vastly, though there are more coming in the future.
With TSRO working towards a “major rocket fuel deal with a foreign nation,” other deals for raw materials, something which the Union lacks in exchange for manufacturing these materials into goods, have been something TSRO seeks. Let us watch as TSRO makes more deals and what reaction Milgorn will have to this.

A week has passed since the death of Angelina Yamori, the missing teen on April 27 which has trembled the inner bases of the Police Department of Santa Elisa and the Federal Investigation Agency (AFI). This week of silence by authorities was accompanied by outrage on social media such as Blankbook and Twatter under the hashtags #JusticiaParaAngelinaYamori
During this silence, Anáhuac’s Main Prosecutor Rogelio Fasci Medrano reassured to the public that “everything in our power is being done to resolve this”. The AFI has released a preliminary result of the case, releasing security footage of a nearby truck business and the available cameras at the Real Canteriana Motel.
The footage was carefully analyzed before being compiled into a timeline that determines Angelina's last steps following the now infamous last photo:
04:45 a.m.: After leaving the taxi, Miss Yamori was seen walking the sideways of the Aureliano Delgado Ribeiro.
04:50 a.m.: Miss Yamori stops at the gates of the “Compañia de Transportación Tridente”, possibly for any help. The guard is nowhere to be seen. This situation continues until 5:01 a.m.
05:01 a.m.: Guard Idelfonso Reyes arrives at the gates and attends Miss Yamori. He points at the Real Canteriana Motel. Reyes declared that Yamori asked him for a “good place” to wait for her friends and that he pointed to the Real Canteriana due to their lights and “safety”. At 05:03 a.m., Yamori leaves the gates of the trucking company.
05:12 a.m.: Miss Yamori arrives at the Real Canteriana Motel apparently reeling on itself, even falling when reaching the gatehouse.
05:15 a.m.: The last camera to capture Miss Yamori comes from the inside restaurant “*Tino*” where her shadow is close to the water tank in which she was found on May 11th.
Fasci added that more footage would come in the following days, as new cameras and a possible audio recording of Miss Yamori at 5:10 a.m. might give an explanation to this case. The government of Anahuac has solicited the Federal Government permission for foreign assistance on the case, inviting the Hoterallian N.P.A and N.P.S.C. to join the case, as Yamori was of Hoterallian descent.

It has been exactly 312 days since July 11nth, otherwise known as Black Sunday in the history books of Bakyernian stocks. For 10 months Bakyern has been suffering from an economic recession that has spread and hit foreign nations as well. The complete nightmare for corporations, businessmen, and the government that was Black Sunday seems to finally have an ending on the horizon off the state of current stocks and experts.
Investors at the Kalvat Stock Exchange (KASEX) have been anxious for the state of stocks across markets at the stock exchange. The results they've been waiting for have finally been seen as multiple shares have been reporting stabilization. Particularly Hotsch Industrial Concern and Bolisk Multi-Holdings Group shares have been reporting a return to green line shares in fact.
The economic recession, caused by negligence from the IT sector, has ruined financial futures for a great number of Bakyernians and have left thousands jobless from companies laying off employees due to cuts. Black Sunday has been a show of how undangerous the unregulated free market is according to multiple experts - but economists have argued that it's 'part of the nature of economics'.
There is now arguing on whether the Greater Government of the Bakyernian Nation did enough in both ways - could they have softened the blows of the recession earlier or is this the best they could've handled in 10 months.
For now Bakyernians are hopeful for the full stabilization of markets at the Kalvat Stock Exchange. It's been urged constantly for traders to be careful when on the trading floor.

Dear Diary,
I would like to give an update about the fighting in the capital. I have mostly been staying inside the main hospital helping patients, as it is probably the safest place (I am not the bravest of people), and because it is my duty to care for the wounded soldiers that have been injured while fighting. We have had a lot of help from Sauthar’s humanitarian aid too, with a few working with me.
We have lost a lot of lands since the Neuew troops have come in, and have seen a lot of our weapon storage seized, so it’s only getting harder than before, I don’t expect us to last longer, as they are nearly in the proper city instead of the outskirts. We have our troops positioned with guns inside skyscrapers for extra defence. Let’s hope we can stay at least a few weeks more. I don’t know how much longer I will be around if they get me (which would probably be very illegal if they were to kill me), but it has been a good run nonetheless. I have met a lot of good friends and am relatively well known in the commune, so I have a lot of people that would be sad if I were to die. It’s already been really sad when people have died though because we all know each other here. It has honestly not been nice seeing people I know die on the battlefield or in the hospital under my care. It makes me feel like I could have done so much more when I couldn’t have.

The high cost of living and housing in Fichmanistan has finally began to fall. The recession that hit nearly 1 year ago caused the price of fuel, food, housing and more to soar in price. The cost of housing, land and building materials has in particular rose by over 14%. In the last week the government began to rent out the new "Government rental houses" that were funded under the "New Socialist Budget" from last year. Under this program houses were built as well as buying up privately held houses and apartment blocks.

The National Police Agency's Criminal Investigation Bureau Sending Officers To Help Solve The Angelina's Case
The National Police Agency of Hoterallia had recently answered the call for help from the AFI of Gran rugido to assist in the investigation of Angelina Yamori. As the case continue to be wrapped in mysteries, the Criminal Investigation Bureau of the NPA agreed to travel to Gran Rugido to solve the case.
A total of 20 officers from the bureau arrived from Saipoi to Anáhuac with the approval of the Senate of Anáhuac, the team was greeted by the State Prosecutor. Before landing, the team gave an inside view of their opinions on the case, with Commissioner Daisuke Saitō criticizing the way the State Prosecutor has been handling the case.
Within hours of the investigations, the investigation team made several discoveries that greatly differ from the one made by the AFI, these discoveries include new pieces of evidence, leads... With the arrival of the Team, they continued with what they had in their hands, including the new tapes of the Motel and the Avenue, the lingering suspicion of Miss Yamori's friends and taxi driver, and several overlooked pieces of evidence.
An independent autopsy report was also made by the team, suggesting possible femicide regarding other linked cases, but it has yet been confirmed.

"Bekoe's Dozen" Released from Prison

A major milestone has been achieved in Dwetasia yesterday, as twelve men walk free for the first time in fifteen years. Activist Bekoe Kouassi, alongside eleven of his associates - colloquially dubbed "Bekoe's Dozen" - were imprisoned by the Dwetasian state on charges of conspiracy in 2007. This was following an alleged insurrection attempt in the County of Parsebury. Authorities claimed that they were working with a local ultranationalist radical group known as the Dwete Nkannyan ne Ahofadi Anim (Dwetasian Revival and Liberation Front, DNAA) to attempt a provincial takeover and subsequent revolution against the crown.
Of course, nothing manifested, and it was later revealed that no such plans for armed rebellion existed. This caused outcry among indigenous rights activists, who clamored for the release of Bekoe and his associates as they had been convicted on falsified charges. Now, fifteen years after the original case, Kouassi's "clique" are free men once more. When asked about potentially entering into the political scene as an indigenous rights spokesperson following his release, Bekoe claimed he "never had any interest in national politics, not then, and certainly not now."
Regardless of his participation, those seeking to uphold human rights in Dwetasia have won a strong victory. While the country is far from lenient, it is most certainly moving towards a more just society. The Crown watches over with the best interests of all Dwetasians in mind, and His Majesty's loyal Counts, Judges, and bureaucrats are executors of that will.

**Ivan Skoryk discharged from hospital**
After his final blood test at the hospital showed he had no detectable nerve agent left in his blood, Ivan Skoryk was finally discharged without having any symptoms in the past 5 days. It is thought that Mr. Mukhin received a dose ~20x higher than Skoryk, and still remains in a coma. Mr. Mukhin had ultrasounds done that show extremely minimal internal damage in the body. Doctors expect Mr. Mukhin's condition to improve in the next few days as the concentration of nerve agent in his blood is starting to reach that of Skoryk's on admission, however they are still researching this specific nerve agent.
While true, as Anteria is a diverse, multicultural region people are welcome to use the language they are most comfortable with! While English is something we all typically speak and is the easiest, don't let that make u feel like u can't use your native tongue :)
Empire Day Celebrations Huge Success, New Laws Approved to Reform Imperial Government
BAINBRIDGE - Beginning with a Celebratory Mass at Bainbridge Cathedral yesterday morning, all of Valcouria plunged into the 10-year celebration of Empire Day with vigor and excitement. Large parades and parties were held in many towns and cities across the country, while the Imperial Family presided over a navy-air force display in Gratiot. Emperor Constantine concluded the day's celebrations in a grandiose speech before the Imperial Senate Building back in Bainbridge:
"And so here we stand, ten years into the national experiment, a proud and prosperous people. In ten years, we have transformed ourselves from a corrupt and decadent bureaucracy to a competent and civil society, where the people rule. We have withstood many trials and tribulations throughout that time, standing our ground against those that seek to undo our gains and send us back into servitude to the cesspool of corruption and inefficiency. But our work, my fellow citizens, is nowhere near complete. Ten years the Empire has stood, and it must continue to stand if we are to continue prospering as the greatest nation on the earth..."
In the same speech, the Emperor confirmed that recent legislative bills to reform the government and amend the Constitution would be given assent. The bills, which have been in debate in the Imperial Senate since mid-March, include provisions that would restore the Chamber of Representatives as a lower house in the Valcourian legislature, make the Imperial Government dependent on support from the legislature, and most importantly relax laws aimed at 'de-politicizing' society, thus allowing for the creation of new political parties. Of note, the reforms do not inhibit the Emperor's political power relative to the legislature, nor do they overturn the Empire's numerous anti-communist and anti-socialist laws.
Imperial Grand Chancellor James Montgomery, who gave a similar speech in Lloydminster aboard the battleship HIMS Invincible, noted that
"It is time for Valcouria to shape its destiny...The Government of His Majesty wishes that the people whom we serve have the maximum input into how the Empire is to be managed, and with these reforms we stand to ensure this for all time."
The bills are expected to be given assent by June 1, thus allowing for the possibility of elections in 2022 for the recreated Chamber of Deputies. Additionally, the legislation indicates that new political groups will be permitted to form for ballot access by September 1.

June 2022 Elections Approaching Quick
PINAL CITY - This month, the June 2022 Elections are approaching quick on the Trident Union. Taking place on June 31st, we will likely see yet another showdown between Jeanne Milgorn and Grimpoplian Barglerin. However, there will be a major policy shift.
In the last election, taking place in January 2022, Barglerin took a stance against the Eastern Anterian Commonwealth. In the six months since, Grimpoplian Barglerin propelled a bill to leave the alliance, and then join the Saltstil Pact. Since then, he has received unparalleled support, and is truly a pioneer in the opposition to Milgorn. There is no questioning he will represent anti-Milgorn sentiments in recent years, and he has a particular appeal to young voters. His popularity can be summed up by a statement from a voter last election: “It seems like you could grab a drink of tea with him.”
Barglerin has mentioned a “new, bold agenda to represent the people of this nation and promote our unity and national identity.” He will announce this in his campaign speech around June 1st, when the candidates will be announced. However, Milgorn will do the same, and there is still a large amount of people that support her. Despite recent efforts, our polls show that she is still in the lead by around eight percent, though it is not known if that will change.
During this election, the hot topics will be foreign relations with the Saltstil Pact, state-owned and private companies, government spending, civil rights, and more. This will be similar to last year, but there will be a noticeable change in the plans and arguments of each candidate.

It is D-12 and the first alliance is formed, the Radical Party, the Republicans and 3 conservative senators have announced the creation of a new coalition called "Hylia Prospera" which will mark the end of the participation of the Radicals in the "Demoscial" Government Coalition.
If this new coalition wins the election, the president's liberal bill could be approved and Lady Daren Shoren, stationed at the Morrawia embassy, could become Prime Minister again as in the time of Lord Lionel Helvas, otherwise a left-wing majority could force the president to resign and give way to a president elected by the people according to the constitution.
