Living through a strong earthquake would probably scare me enough to move. Ha. I’m a wimp when it comes to mother nature.

The problem with earthquakes is at least for me unless it's a huge one or prolonged by the time you register it's a earthquake it's over.

WTF?! An F-16 just thundered over my house in south Philly!

Welcome back to the region.

At least my population is going to live longer.

I’m glad one of the new stats will measure blood pressure, because they just pushed mine through the roof. Grrrrr, I don’t know why they even ask for public feedback. They just push through the betas regardless. Sigh.

I just wish we had a little more control over things than just issues. I don't need something as wild as some of the trackers out there but maybe a couple sliders, let me tell you what a Kredit is worth and maybe some more more boxes to fill in.

Well it makes sense that I have a 29 billion country where everyone dies at 25. At least now the average life expectancy is 97.

I'd like to see a alliance feature. Three major options are military, trade or both. In the trading option you can pick if it's a singular currency, free trade and United border tariffs. Do we have enough rough info for me to calculate our own currencies strength? Singular currency alliances are just a combination of the Nations stats.

OOC: Heya Moar! Were you planning a little RP (and background story) about your govt coming back to power?

I was! Not right away though, it's been a hot minute and am gonna take some time to answer issues and chit chat with y'all before diving in head first. Maybe next weekend or so I'll post, not sure yet.

I've been absent for far too long and it's so very nice to see you all again.

Looking forward to reading it. I was debating RPing sending a fleet east “to deal with increased pirate activity.” I figured the pirates between us would try to take advantage of any disruption in your central govt.

I'd love to see pirates try and make a foothold in Moarfall. They'd go running back to their ships as soon as an entire neighborhood goes full roof-Korean.

I forgot about the pirates. I'd be more worried about the weakening of the KU. The loss of either Moarfall or Saratoga causes the balance of power(military wise) to fall between us. The economic balance would probably shift me over to the KU camp.(KU has bigger population)
It would be interesting to see where the remaining KU members would fall to Saratoga is Faraway enough not to be bothered and Nedea is right next to us. While both would lead us weaken ourselves a bit and profit. Though we could always have teamed up against our little capitalist friend in the west. Though fight on which socialist model to use for new Nedea.

Is this a threat? Because it feels like a threat. If I'm not mistaken a certain numeric nation we know claimed to back their currency off of reserve Kredits. When all that remains is ashes and ashes, we all fall down.

I love how you go straight to the big picture. :) I’m guessing you’re right in that the KU probably suffered quite a disruption. Maybe that was one reason the Nedeans were interested in summit-talks with my govt? Hmmmm.

The war scenario would have been very interesting... and surprising. My govt would have likely tried to find a way to counterbalance your nation, since your eastern flank was suddenly ‘wide open’ for exploitation and expansion. I foresaw our two nations racing to capture the northern areas of Moarfall and waterways controlling access to my eastern waters. My govt sees these waters and the straights that lead to them as very important strategically and worth a potential conflict to protect. We would have probably used the occasion to deal with the pirates, once and for all.

Remember kiddies. The KU is just an economic union and not a military one. It was established with the signing of the Echelon Accords. The Accords themself also commit us to a mutual NAP.

There is no true defensive pact between Moar, Sara and I currently. Though thats not to say we wouldn't help eachother out in a war anyway.

Nedeans are getting back to work!

With the recent news that the rightful Moarfallian government is back from exile, hundreds of thousands of Nedeans are making the commute of their lives to help redevelope Moarfallian infrastructure. With the Loco Coco plague still in full swing, many Nedean workers have taken to the opportunity to get their hands dirty once again and help a friend in need.

In addition, leagues of Nedeans are renewing their Liaison work visas to make the trek to eastern 46566 to help develope the nations burgeoning claims to the east. The Midgari government had requested the assistance months ago and now that things are getting more secure in the Wild Depths area with the return of Moarfall, Nedean workers have less fears about the prospect.

In other news the Athretvari and Nedean is summit is underway. We expect the great news about Moarfalls return to be on the docet as Drake Fairtrade has undoubtedly gotten the news during the summit.
