Janpian Union of Revolutionary States General Wikipedia
Overview
The Janpian Union of Revolutionary States, also known as the United Revolutionary States of Janpia, is a nation located at the The Communist Bloc and has an estimated population of 777 million.
Janpia is bounded by the Janpian Sea at the east, the Unschon Island Group at its west, the Sea of Sichanashi to the south, and the Sea of Magochyo to the north. The nation is divided by the Munschen River, which cuts from Sichanashi Bay to the Munschen Harbor at the north. The deepest geographic location is Point 122 located at the Bay of Sichanashi, while the highest point is Mount Asentokai at the Chikali Mountain Range. The country also has a desert known as the Alevayev Desert, an ancient lake with possible volcanic activity. The desert is in the Janpian Middle Land Region, divided between the Helgo and Avescho regions. The capital city Kalingrad, is also the largest Janpian city, being the center of the Party and its ministries.
Janpia has a diverse culture, with each region having its own distinct blend of food, accent, and viewpoints. These cultures embodies the spirit of Janpia itself, which was further enforced by the chosen national representations entrusted to the Party. Such representations, for example, is the Janpian national bird, the raven. It was chosen mainly since it symbolizes philosophy, intelligence, wisdom, and death. It also represents the revolution against the empire and tyrants, along with the Janpian intelligentsia class. The Janpian maple tree, commonly known as the Ruscho tree, was also chosen as the national tree, being a symbol of both the Revolution and Janpia itself. It was mainly chosen due to its symbolism, or most notably due to its crimson leaves falling over, symbolizing the fallen revolutionaries. The chosen national flower is also unique, mainly since there are two flowers that represent Janpia: the water lily and the red spider lilies. The water lily represents enlightenment, mainly since the lily flowers bloom and emerge from the dark mud, being a symbol of resurrection or rebirth, and the red spider lily, which symbolizes death.
The nation is governed by the Janpian Union of Government Workers Party, which comprises all of the parties united under one name. The main baseline of the party is the Janpian Worker's Party, the United Front Party, and the Revolutionary Front Party, which came together under the Union Pact. The Janpian Union of Revolutionary States was born after the Janpian Civil War, which overthrew the Imperial Government and united all its western island colonies (the Union Islands), making them part of the nation's core territories.
Officially, the revolution is not yet over as the world is not enlightened by the revolutionary ideals. The goal of the revolution is to bring true peace, stability, equality, and harmony to all nations through leftist ideals by destroying Janpian enemies and counter-revolutionaries in any manner. If all of this is finished, the Party, along with the rest, will dissolve itself, creating a stateless, classless society of communes.
Etymology
Janpia gets its name from Janoschpe III, a warlord during the 1st Era who united the tribes and kingdoms of Janpia in a brutal campaign for unity. His followers became known as Janoschpia, and the name eventually evolved to Janpia.
Unofficially, Janpia is also referred to as "Dabun Javosch," which means "the land of the dead emperors," mainly since a lot of places in Janpia are named after the death places of kings, emperors, or members of their lineages.
For example, King Magochyo of Munschen once fled from the invading Janpian imperial forces by sea and was never found again. As a result, the sea where he escaped is now called as the Sea of Magochyo.
During half of Janpia's history, the land was ruled by the Janoschpe dynasty, which claimed a direct lineage to Janoschpe III. Even during the colonial period of the 2nd Era, the dynasty maintained their title as "Emperors," much to the people's displeasure. However, in the 4th Era, the Janoschpe dynasty and their supporters were killed or defeated in a civil war, bringing an end to their reign.
History
Main article: Historical Era Archives (WIP)
The history of Janpia is divided into different eras, each representing a distinct style of governance or struggle. These eras don't have set time limits and only change when significant historical events occur in Janpia's timeline, making it similar to the Chinese heaven's mandate.
Janpia's rich history is complex and spans many years, leading to a wealth of historical artifacts and pieces of evidence. To help organize this information, the Janpian Ministry of Collective Information and Archives operates a dedicated website that focuses on Janpia's history.
Main article: Janpian Government
Janpia is a single-party state, governed by the Janpian Union of Government Workers Party (JUGWP), a union that comprises a collective of parties, factions, and unions that emerged from the leftist-aligned and socialist factions during the 4th era civil war. The JUGWP is headquartered in Fort Kalinka, a historic fortification located in Kalingrad City that houses key Party buildings, headquarters, and ministries. The Party was established as part of the Union Pact, which forms the basis of Janpia's national identity and nationhood.
As per usual, rightist parties and the establishment of new parties are banned due to their fascistic, capitalistic, monarchist, or imperialistic tendencies. Furthermore, the Party represents the state itself and the people of Janpia.
As such, citizenship in Janpia is conferred similarly to Party membership, with elected officials holding government positions as designated by the constitution.
Military
Main article: The Janpian Union Revolutionary Forces
The country's military is the Janpian Union of Revolutionary Forces (JURF), an armed paramilitary wing of the Janpian Union of Government Workers Party. The JURF has 4 branches, being the Revolutionary Army, Revolutionary Navy, the Revolutionary Airforce, and the Revolutionary Missileers, with each having direct authority over certain areas of command.
The JURF has participated in many internal and external conflicts, such as the Civil War Era (4th Era), the Revolutionary War, and many contemporary conflicts such as the Jano-Muqaddasian War, Visegrad Crisis, Aursian Civil War, and more international expeditionary missions.
The Public Marshals are a key component of Janpia's civilian forces, responsible for maintaining public order and delivering services to the people. They play a crucial role in enforcing Party legislation and creating a safe environment for workers.
In line with state regulations on firearms, the Public Marshals are not authorized to use lethal projectile weapons in apprehending criminals, except in special operations when necessary. As a result, their primary weapon is the traditional Janpian sword. They can often be observed on horseback while patrolling, rather than using police cars.

The Public Marshals has 3 branches: The Violence Control Branch, Cybersecurity Branch, and the State Branch. The Violence Control Branch is the only branch of the Public Marshals that is permitted to use deadly projectile weapons. Often times they use weapons such as SPR-F and SP-7, with projectiles not going further than assault rifle rounds. They are distinct and different from the rest, since they always use military gear, and are not often seen riding horses on deployment. The State Branch handles the rest such as reconnaissance, patrols, traffic control, and among others that do not involve heavy violent activities, while the Cybersecurity Branch is focused on maintaining a safe online space on Janpian Internets.
The developed Janpian economy owes much to the "Miracle on the Munschen River", a period of continuous economic growth supported by the government's emphasis on industrial development and expansion. Key industries driving the country's GDP include electronics, arms, transportation, steel production, and agriculture/aquaculture.
The Ministry of Economy and Trade employs the "Petoska" model, a hybrid of a centrally planned economy and a socialist market economy. This model removes direct union control over the means of production, instead incorporating a state directory and workers' council into the union. The state owns the direct means of production, acting as a central planning committee on collectivization and redistribution, while workers receive a share of profits and have some control through their elected workers' councils. Workers can join or leave the council through elections, making it different from the syndicalist union, which employs near-direct democracy in ruling the means of production and representation to the UPMC.
The market mechanism in the Petoska model is primarily restricted to consumer goods, with the central planning committee responsible for allocating capital, labor, materials, and intermediate goods. In this model, the unions, under the elected committee of their worker's council, are the true owners of the means of production. However, the Petoska model also imposes limits on personal property ownership, such as a maximum of four people per owner in shops, and farmers outside of kolshaks are limited to owning ten hectares per person, with the majority of the land prioritized for the collective kolshaks.
Energy
The Janpian mainland is powered by the state-run Janpian Union of Energy and Power Workers Union. A collective worker's union that runs the nation's electricity.
The majority of the nation's power came from nuclear plants and solar energy, being chosen due to their renewable and clean nature. Despite this, a medium amount of energy still came from geothermal, gas, and coal plants, while some are powered by hydro electronic plants or solar energy. Currently, the Party is attempting to eradicate gas and coal as sources of energy and rely on renewable energy such as wind power, solar power, geothermal power, and hydropower.
The Unschon Island Group's energy is handled by the West Energy Workers Union. The group owns a fleet of nuclear reactor ships that can provide and refill the energy on the islands. They also own various solar panels and hydro windmills that run underneath the ocean, which provide the majority of the power in the islands.
Janpia's electricity and other energy commodities are free as provided by state laws. Recently, all electrical lines on the Janpian mainland have been moved underground to avoid overhead wiring traffic, increase safety measures, and as part of urban beautification.
As stated by Janpian laws, access and use of healthcare services are free in Janpia, and also available for anyone currently residing on the state. The Janpian healthcare facilities, services, and programs are run by the Revolutionary Health Workers Group, which is a collective organization of health care unions, that are regulated by the party through laws, to avoid medical anomaly and mistakes. Just like any jobs in Janpia, doctors and nurses are paid depending on their labor output, as based on the Petoska economic bill.
The healthcare services' dial number is 944, along with other services such as the Public Marshals, or the Fire Protection Ministry.
Education
Education is one of the most important aspects of the Janpian Union, as it is required to finish education in order to do labor.
Unlike other state agencies which are controlled by the worker's union, the Janpian education sector is directed by the party itself under the Janpian Revolutionary Ministry for Education (JRME). Education in Janpia is free for everyone regardless of race or gender as provided by the state.
They are, however, divided based on their knowledge and skills on topics and subjects. All students who have a certain skill or knowledge of a certain subject will be grown further by the state by making them join specialized educational institutions or courses, helping the students to learn with passion and to overcome their certain weaknesses.
Students with high grades in certain subjects or topics have higher access to different specialized educational institutions or courses that they are good at. However, a student with low grades in a certain subject is not allowed to choose courses or specialized educational institutions in which they failed at. The students, however, can repeat another school year to pass on what they lack. With this system, they may be able to take on the course or institution that they wish to take.
Dropouts in Janpia are illegal as it encourages no labor and laziness, which is heavily looked down upon by most of the Janpians. Education is a way to help people sustain themselves through labor.
Transportation
The majority of the Janpian Economy is powered by the transportation sector, as it helps transfer goods, people, trade, and other aspects.
Like every property, all transportation lines, vehicles, facilities, and infrastructures are owned by the party and run by various workers' unions. The unions manage and maintain the vehicles, stations, and facilities to assure cleanliness, efficiency, and reliability. The largest worker's union when it comes to transportation is the JaRail Workers Group, which manages and operates all railways infrastructure and locomotives at Janpia.
Based on a recent survey, the majority of people commute and travel via trains or metros. Trains are the most efficient form of transportation and it forms the backbone of the Janpian transportation sector, being the main transport for factories, shipping, trade, people, and goods. Rides and routes are all completely free, as managed by the party through unions.
Trains always arrive and leave on time thanks to the extensive AI planning network, which acts as a control center to ensure that the trains are never late. A train that is 5 seconds late is dishonorable and a free additional lunch will be given to its passengers.
All the cities in Janpia are connected by railway lines that can run from 100kph to 380kph. Based on a survey study, not a single town is left without a railway line, as all cities or towns at least have railway lines that connect to the rest of Janpia. The lines are also separated with one for cargo lines and the other for civilians in order to avoid congestion and delays.

JaRail lines showing the Yellow and Red line category
The train lines are categorized into 4:
Yellow Lines: The fastest line in Janpia, the line runs up to 300-380kph. It mainly connects major cities.
Red Lines: Running from 120kph to 300kph, this line category is the most extensive and it connects all the cities in Janpia.
Green Lines: This category is used on short-distance lines such as city-to-suburban travel. This line category is mainly used in the provinces or cities proper. The green line category also acts as a feeder line to the Red and Yellow categories.
White Lines: This line category refers to metros and subway lines. It also acts as a feeder to the Green, Red and Yellow categories.
Air travel is one of the few ways to move around Janpia. Air travel mainly transports passengers, with a small amount of cargo. Airplanes were one of the finest ways to get around Janpia during the 4th era, only to decline during the 4th era civil war and the entry of the 5th era. It declines further as trains started making a comeback with efficiency, extensiveness, and reliability.
City
Due to the extensive urbanization during the "Munschen Miracle", majority of Janpia's population resides in major cities, which serve as the nation's primary centers of industry, commerce, and trade. As a result, the cities contribute significantly to the country's GDP. The country follows a right-side driving rule and abides by several road rules that are similar to the European road system. The cities' infrastructure is carefully planned to avoid traffic congestion and other traffic-related problems.
Most of the major cities in Janpia were developed around historic locations that date back to the 1st and 2nd eras. For instance, Alegra City was built around the old roads from the 2nd Era, while the Darlinburg City Roundabout was once the gathering spot during the 1st Era. There are numerous city planning laws in place to ensure that Janpian cities are both aesthetically pleasing and convenient in terms of transportation.

Culture
Janpian cultures are deeply followed and respected, and has been passed down for many centuries through tales, stories (mouth-to-mouth) or records. Janpia is a melting pot of cultures due to the various influences during its colonial era, imperial era, and with a good number of contributions from a wide range of immigrant groups. National identity emerged during the 4th era as warring parties and groups united under the Union Pact.
Janpians have a deep sense of honor and sense of shame. They have various sets of social norms such as bowing before entering a room, maintaining silence in public spaces, and respect for the elderly. Janpians also have a few psychological norms such as answering a reply with another reply as rude and viewing hierarchy as a blocker of their opportunity.

Janpian Union of Revolutionary States Flag
The flag of the Janpian Union of Revolutionary States is the symbol of the Janpian Union of Government Worker's Party (JUGWP) and the Janpian Union of Revolutionary Forces (JURF). It is the emblem of the Revolution and the only legitimate flag of Janpia, given that it also serves as a war flag for the Party. This is due to the Revolutionary notion that Janpia is in a constant state of war, either directly or indirectly, against individuals, groups, or nations that do not share the Revolutionary Ideals. That such war would only be over once every state is under the authority of the workers
Red symbolizes the blood that has fallen for the sake of the Revolution.
Black symbolizes the revolutionaries' struggles to upheld its ideals.

Cuisine
One of the most notable aspects of Janpian cuisine is that alcohol and chocolate are eaten during celebrations or special occasions. The chocolate culture dates back to the 3rd Era (Imperial Times) when chocolate is seen as a desert for the high-class. Janpian cuisine is also noticeable for its lesser use of cooking oil, heavy use of salt and spices, and reliance on sauces for its food.
Weapons

The Janpian Union of Revolutionary States officially does not permit the private use of deadly projectile weapons. However recreational gun activities or sports, such as gun ranges and such, are permitted by the Party. Some ranges include special courses from breakthrough practices, live rounds firing, and even crossfire with other people with the use of non-lethal bullets. The guns in ranges must only be the ones approved by the Revolutionary Council and the Janpian Union of Government Worker's Party.
For self-defense, the law does not state any prohibition when it comes to melee weapons. A weapon is allowed for the public if it is non-projectile. As such, many people bring swords and even teach themselves martial arts to defend themselves. The Public Marshals are also prohibited to use deadly projectile weapons unless there is a shoot-to-kill order on specific operations.
The purpose of the public gun ban is to avoid uprisings, discourage private property ownership, and encourage the use of free speech in conflicts. However, projectile weapons may be given to the public if there is an invasion, and anything thereof.
Sports

Janpia has no specific sports ministry that manages the overall sports activities on Janpia. However, there are a few specialized unions that aids and help players alike in joining, training, and playing for the Janpian national team. These Unions are managed by coaches and captains that train the players in order to become more competitive and learn better playstyle. One of the examples of these sports unions is the Janpian Football Union which is part of the TCBIFC confederation.
