The Corporate state of Repland is a huge, orderly nation, notable for its public floggings, complete lack of prisons, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 845 million Replandians are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The tiny, moralistic, pro-business, well-organized government prioritizes Defense, with Law & Order, Industry, and Administration also on the agenda, while Spirituality and International Aid are ignored. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of New Amsterdam. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5.6%.

The powerhouse Replandian economy, worth 80.8 trillion Euros a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Uranium Mining industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Gambling, and Arms Manufacturing. Average income is 95,657 Euros, but there is an enormous disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 524,442 per year while the poor average 8,887, a ratio of 59.0 to 1.

Employees are told they can avoid traffic jams by starting work at 4 AM, school lockers are filled with fancy underwear, the government merely sends empty platitudes whenever natural disasters strike foreign nations, and foreign lack of enthusiasm for Replandian nose-flute disco metal is seen as a reasonable casus belli. Crime is a problem, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Repland's national animal is the Lion, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Repland is ranked 54,691st in the world and 245th in Europeia for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 3,713.83 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
