I don't know why we are still debating about Canada?
Our delegate has already expressed his opinion. Our job is to agree with him!

AND another one just did me in even more heavily.
It was an old-school one about mining safety.
And if I've learnt anything about mining-related Issues so far... it is that endorsing mining always results in my good industries going down. Plus I wanted to raise my Death Rate...
So I voted no to safety for miners...
AND ALL MY GOOD STATS DIED EVEN MORE.
Very rapidly losing my patience with this bullsh!t. There is nothing intuitive about any of it. I want to go back to the old system. When all we had was a small snippet of text to judge the consequences of our choices, and we were able to change our mind in that moment if the snippet of text didn't sound good...
Modern NS just seems designed to p!ss me off. To sh!t all over my hard work and turn everything I've worked towards for years to dust.
Ah well...
The best laid schemes o mice an men gang aft agley.
Damnit. My Arms Manufacturing has dropped over 20 places today alone.
I've got to find a solution to this...
I knew the deadline. Note the year. America failed to introduce basic gender equality into its constitution the same year Canada did. Worse still for your point, Canada's constitution is regarded by many academics to be the most difficult constitution to amend across the world - far more difficult than America's constitution. Hence why Trudeau's father holds superstar status in Canada - no other leader has accomplished what he did in '82.
Introducing the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, however, was not only the life accomplishment of prime minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau, who had dreamt of its realization since he was a young Quebec activist writing for Cité libre - it was the work of three of our most revered prime ministers, Diefenbaker, Trudeau and Chretien, over the course of forty years. The decision to repatriate the constitution would spark a dramatic fight over the course of the next two decades, culminating in the 1995 sovereignty referendum, where a much older, much grayer Chretien would have to face his earlier betrayal of his own province in signing the new constitution in a 'do or die' cagefight that came within a few thousand votes of tearing apart the country.
In short, America is in no position to dismiss Canada's constitution, nor dismiss its own failed efforts to constitutionalize gender equality nationally as "good enough." Your country gave up on its constitutional project (and is now contemplating the presidential nomination of a boorish sexist in an election filled with misogyny), while mine bludgeoned itself almost to its own destruction over a half a century in a successful attempt to advance the same project. As a result, we now enjoy once of the most progressive, most comprehensive constitutions in the world.
Sorry to say, but Canada is no utopia.
Then I'll try to live there within the next 5 years.
Noooo, I said Don't spoil it! :p
I know... But seriously, I wanna share with you: when I talked to my friends as a teenager, and we were pissed by our own country (not Singapore but Europe) for certain reasons, we always said why don't we just migrate to Canada, somewhere in the wild mountains with a clear lake close by. Canada, as our enjoyable last resort.
Today my work of the whole last year 'got rejected'... don't say anything now. let me dream. oh, Canada, how beautiful is Canada. psst. Silence.
With Trudeau in charge, Canada's going to Hell in a hand basket.
That is not exactly what Benton Frazer would say in such a moment.
I'm not Benton Frazer, so I don't care what he would or wouldn't say.

Yup! I wanted to check out other places without moving my main. *takes some BBQ* Thanks. ^_^
Hello~
*hugs back* I changed my flag. What do ya think? :P Also, why do you guys not use quotes?
👍
Okay. It's just easier for me 'cause I'm on mobile, but it doesn't matter. :P
Personally I always strive for quotes.
I advocate that everyone use quotes, or I'll get some raiders here to set fire to this dustbin! *megalomaniac laugh*
Can you make Donald Trump pay for it? He has the money.
Why don't you describe who you're referring to then?
Apparently, there is an organisation out there called Muslims for Trump. I know this because the founder of said organisation gave a speech at the RNC. What's next? Mexicans for Trump? Women for Trump? Mexican Muslim Women for Trump? This is tokenism at its finest.
I hate Canadian humour.
Yes, I spelt it with a 'u'. Deal with it.
