Less of a region and more of a pipe dream, Azuria is the culmination of many years of societal trauma to the head and some 21st Century legal documents that claim a rightful alliance between what are now the nations of Synthasia, Selethy, Halestia, and Animenia. Since two of them are violent totalitarianists and the last is a couple light years away from Earth, most diplomats tend to forget that the alliance exists at all. Especially because Synthasia still has to way about 15 years for an answer from Animenia.
