The Meritocracy of Moronist Decisions is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by the Lion with an even hand, and renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed population of 3.998 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Canberra. The average income tax rate is 92%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Book Publishing.

Mining safety laws are often more expensive than what's being mined, corporations cut costs by taking away safety-features on their products, the people are famous throughout the region for their bleached-white teeth, and guns are banned. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Moronist Decisions's national animal is the e coli, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Powerpoint.
