The Removable Raspberry of Adaia is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Polo with an iron fist, and notable for its prohibition of alcohol. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 7.099 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business individuals juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Piers Morgan. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

The armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists, commuter vessels have trouble staying afloat due to increased passengers, the country has been 'going shopping' by annexing nearby nations for their resources, and Adaia's nuclear power is imported from neighbouring countries. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Adaia's national animal is the Ravenous Rocket Salad, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Yoloswaggism, and its currency is the somewhat mouldy pie.

Adaia is ranked 187th in New Warsaw Pact and 128,120th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring -12 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
