The Particularly Putrid Potato of Adaia is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by Polo with an iron fist, and renowned for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 9.04 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The enormous, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business government juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Piers Morgan. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 21%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Automobile Manufacturing.

Soldiers are equipped with multi-million somewhat mouldy pie battlesuits, young children are regularly seen wagering pocket money at blackjack tables, rumours have it that a secret police is responsible for the recent spate of missing persons, and citizens must have a license to operate a computer. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Adaia's national animal is the Ravenous Rocket Salad, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Yoloswaggism, and its currency is the somewhat mouldy pie.

Adaia is ranked 2nd in New Warsaw Pact and 1,445th in the world for Highest Police Ratios, scoring 367 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
