I have just read about released information concerning the riots in Minneapolis. The vast majority of those arrested for arson and looting are from out-of-state. There are online forums and organizations advising people to "get their loot on" in the city due to the chaos. Protesters and Police alike have been attacked and placed in harms way by those who have arrived to loot and burn what they can.

The Mayor of Minneapolis and the Governor of Minnesota are both outraged that people would use protests in the name of George Floyd's murder as a cover for illegal activities, and has resulted in the full mobilization of the MN National Guard for the first time in 164 years.

I already knew they were from out-of-state, but people who use protests as an excuse for illegal activities are scumbags, they aren't protesters.
