What does everyone think of the Access to Abortion bill in the WA? I personally oppose it because it looks like it would force governments to provide funds for abortion, and while our nation is mostly pro choice we only want to give government funds to abortions that occur because of Rape, incest, fetal abnormalities and danger to the mother's life.

We currently have three bills on the books addressing the topic. It's purely a badge hunt at this point.
And it doesn't even force governments to fund abortions because you can completely nullify that requirement by taxing the funding at a 100% rate. And there no way around it because domestic tax policy is protected under another resolution.

"This is Delphi Bergit once again at the Oatland Games, where while we wait for the action for the Rifle Shooting event to resume, presumably held up according to my sources by the athletes receiving a shipment of defective competition rounds, the issue laying in malformed primers and undersized flash holes. The Oatland Games Interregional Committee is supposedly looking into replacing the ammo so the games could get underway, meeting with arms manufacturers from across Oatland as well as participating nations to get a rush order out.
Needless to say representatives The Onigiri Enclave was quickly ejected from said meeting when Colonel Weyl Nantessa, a high ranking officer of their 13-member Support Infantry Division and sister of the CEO of The Bunny Fire's largest firearms manufacturer Mysterium Arms Pria Nantessa suggesting offering the games ammunition from Mysterium Arms at rate. The only problem with this was the ammunition was massive 48x256mm depleted uranium rounds, and the colonel also included the railguns to fire them in her offer, claiming the rounds and guns the competitors normally used weren't fit for squatting mosquitoes. When an official from Nagakawa at the meeting pointed out the recoil, even with a magnetically-propelled round, according to Lenz's Law, would likely shatter all the bones in the athletes' ribcage and arms at the very least with a single shot, not to mention the bullet would completely obliterate the target the athlete would be shooting at, the backstop behind it, and most likely punch through and lay mass destruction down its trajectory for the next several miles and cause severe collateral damage, as well as the latent radiation and incendiary effects of DU, to which Colonel Nantessa looked at them with a confused look before telling them in bold terms with all seriousness, 'Um... you don't know how guns work. Guns are the shooty things that make the other guy dead. This is a bullet. It's what goes in the gun. Those things you have our athletes using are toothpicks that would bore any sane baby in ten seconds flat. I mean, honestly, I would have offered bigger bullets, but this is for fun.' Moments later Onigiri Enclave emissary Data Breach was said to have face-palmed, er, face-hoofed so hard she got a concussion and had to be taken to a local hospital in Bastiet for evaluation, and was released later that day.
After the incident and removal of Colonel Nantessa, the meeting went much smoother, as nations and arms manufacturers offered to help to get the games back on track by supplying replacement guns and ammo for the rifle shooting event. Among such offers is Fishy Apples' own Pupfish Arms willing to supply the games with our own Pupfish Arms HB3 Bolt-Action Rifles and the corresponding .303 rounds it uses.

In news more relevant to the athletes themselves, while we continue to wait for rifle shooting event to proceed, we bring you a short interview with Holly Blossomforth, one of Fishy Apples' best markswomen and now considered a regular here at the Oatland Games, having now made five appearances in three years, this year competing for her sixth time, but not once winning a medal, which has started to result in people from all over including our own Fishy Apples giving her a most onerous title here at the games; 'The Little Bridesmaid,' always showing up, but it's never her special day."

Holly: "Well, I come here to not only represent our nation and The Bunny Fire, but to challenge myself, and let me say, each and every time there are many amazing sharpshooters out there that always just barely edge me out. I know in a way that answer sounds like a cop out as to why I still haven't won yet despite my great shots and accolades back home, to which I will add I can guess some of it can be layed at my fins. In the biathlon, I focus so much on my shooting my skiing could use more work, and I don't have to remind you of the extra challenge of skiing on one limb, but I don't practice on proper snow enough to get the times I need. Meanwhile here on the range, where none of that matters, all I can say is I got outplayed last year. I couldn't even claim it was competing in front of a foreign crowd on foreign soil, because I've been here four times already, and now this is my fifth, so if I come home empty, the only one to blame is me and the fact I could have done better for you."

"Alright, Delphi Bergit, back after... a surprising development. How did we all miss that?!! Now we ALL feel silly in taking that proverbial victory lap, but still, we can't take away the fact our own Ayame Yoshikage managed to win silver, which is still a victory in of itself, and in all our pomp, we did forget the efforts of Anne Van Pan of Vernalo whom she beat to get to this place, and to that we apologize.
Another disservice was pushing aside the other events' coverage that happened the same day, as we had yet another silver medalist, this time in decathlon runner Red Halivista, who put up the best scores in the running events and long jump, but was simply outclassed in the throwing events and the high jump events by this year's gold medal winner Harbir Singh of The great bhutan, while a solid performance on the pole vault helped catapult Ramir Ashid of The great bhutan to a bronze medal alongside his teammate Harbir.
The third and final even to take place was the weightlifting event, which was the one event Fishy Apples decided to bow out of this year. Here longtime participant Finmany of Christmas acquired another shiny ornament when Gérald Van De Grand won gold. Meanwhile, The great bhutan seems to be setting themselves up to be a dynasty this year, taking silver and bronze with their impressive technique.
While we still haven't word when rifle shooting will be able to resume competition, we can say this year's Oatland Games are shaping up to be an exciting one, and at this presumptive halfway point, let's total up the current medal count for everyone:
