I saw a tweet about someone complaining that flags being flown on some street in London (regent street) i believe, in honour of the queens jubilee was a prelude to fascism and was making a comparison with a picture of nazi germany with its flags.

Europeans are really a self-hating bunch aren't they

We of South Asia are also a self-hating bunch, on flags and all.

My father has been a queue for petrol (INCORRECT)for the last 36 hours smh. Madness

Actually it's called gasoline.

Gas or Gasoline is a brand name for kerosene while petrol is short for petroleum ( which can actually makes more sense to use as a name for a fuel)😀

The issue is that our local station hasn't received fuel in about 2 days( and this is even after we live in one of the suburbs near the capital city, so the situation is far more dire in more rural areas) . He's been in the same spot in the queue ever since he joined it, almost 2 days ago

We finally got fuel now😂😂

Quick guide to NA, west EU and flags. Flag bad. Unless its a made up identity group flag. In that case flag good. Also flag burning good. Unless its a made up identity group flag, in that case its a hate crime and you are literally Hitler.

I was messing around with you, you didn't need to take it THAT seriously...😭

No, no, thank you, I learned something yesterday reading that. It seems one truly does learn something new every day.

It sounds absolutely normal that a Security Council in this World Assembly is rejoicing in the "full destruction of a region".
Confederacy of Layem is nothing more than a terrorist organization, apparently.
We're left to wonder if Max Barry should have indeed named the Assembly the "Disunited Nations", after the UN politely asked him to not use the name of the organization in the website.

Now I’m not sure where you stand on whether this should be approved or not. After reading the repeal I went in and read the beautiful liberation bill.

It amounted to jack-sh*ting nothing.
They didn’t list an incident or violation, they simply danced around with big words and arrogance talking about how the region has done such terrible things. Apparently, it seems they were tired, meaning they couldn’t list the wonderful reasons. Who woulda thunk.

I went in to the region, saw TBH, and casted by thumbs down.

Wait, so what happened with that region? I apologize for my ignorance, I just haven't been very active on inter regional affairs.

Hey, ya'll.

I (this nation and my RP account) am going to have sporadic bursts of inactivity for the next month. I'll try and see if I can get on to NS more often, but really it depends on the wifi.

Thank you.

Very scuffed that's all I know. Ask Mesque about it I think he's the most knowledgeable about it.

It involved commercialism, accusations of bigotry and discrimination, and other things. Ended with the Black Hawks and others seizing the region.

We think that you've seen enough of HM of The Confederate of Republic of Mesque to know the answer.
If anything, it's just unfortunate that a multinational organization is promoting the destruction of a region (which is why, apparently, Confederacy of Layem is akin to a terrorist organization, in order for an intergovernmental body to rejoice in such destruction).

The Union of Costa Rica wrote:Wait, so what happened with that region?

Let Us point out to a few commentaries:

Republic of Mesque wrote:Consequences of being hated.
Layem claims they are being persecuted by a hivemind due to differing beliefs and standing up for a religious/free speech region.
The rest of the nations are rejoicing its upcoming fall, claiming that a bigoted/evil region is being destroyed.
The truth? Unknown. Probably a mix of the two visions.

Republic of Mesque wrote:Well, it would seem that the widespread narrative is that Layem was a region harboring bigoted/discriminatory nations that happened to have done something off-platform that is equivalently offensive.
The defense narrative of the former founder is that the region was standing up for religion and free speech, which caused them to differ on their beliefs with most nations, notably progressives. They claim that the mods were out to get them because of this, finally getting banned for infringing the “commercialism” rule. Although it is unlikely that the founder’s story is completely truthful, We wouldn’t be surprised if it was. This isn’t a free speech platform.

How there's a law where you can only have one WA nation?

It is intended to keep the integrity of WA proposal voting.

Don't try to circumnavigate it. All your nations will get banned permanently

Now that I think of it, I’m pretty sure I do.

Hi Ehtshamistan, welcome to the region!

By the way, are you from Pakistan?
