XD are they going to grow an immunity to the cold?? Sure I get the colonist side of things but this is a wiiiiiiiiiide stretch. Ok say you set up a colony and you can hunt your little fishies. If we are taking about Northern Antartica you have no access to water because your so far inland and it is so extremely cold you’d die. Your also interfering with so many foreign nations that your homeland would be bombed or invaded. And uhhhhh the animals that do exist out there are the most cuddly year round.

The dark purple clouds are eternity incarnate. They rain down on Weron as he walks down the street. A never ending reminder of how all life is meaningless in the grand entirety of the universe.
He opens the door to his apartment and steps inside. It’s as bare as the world around him. He takes off his shoes and walks toward the window. The Councilate building towers in the distance. Weron snarls. “When are they going to hit the damn button? Blow that place sky high?”. He pulls off his jacket, a hidden assault rifle strapped to his back. He moves to his computer and inserts a chip into the side and begins typing to his “friends of like minds”.
DOGON: What the hell is going on? DOGON: HUNTEO answer me god damn it!Weron sits there. Waiting. He is about to send yet another message when a response comes through.
HUNTEO: You
Weron scrunches his face at the response.
DOGON: HUNTEON what the frick are you on about?
The soft ticking of the keyboard echoes through out the dark room. Then a ding rings out as the other chatter responds.
HUNTEON: Found.
Weron doesn’t get a chance to respond before another ding is heard. His eyes widen as he reads it.
HUNTEON: Found You.
Weron spins around and starts to fire into the room.
BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG!
After his clip runs empty he looks around. It looks empty. Then, a purple triangle appears. It’s source shrouded by the darkness. Weron starts to feel sick. He falls to his knees.
He tries to reach for his gun, but something takes his arm off. Smoke starts to rise from his mouth. His insides begin to burn. Purple flames explode out his finger tips. He can’t even scream, his vocal chords burned away.
The pain is unimaginable. His body falls to the floor. The purple fire completely engulfing him. The triangles source can now be seen in the light of this fire. A man in black robes and armor. A face mask only displaying a purple triangular light. He watches as Weron burns.
Werons body is dead. But his soul is chained to his corpse. It cannot flee or rest. It’s pain. Eternal pain. As the figure leaves, a Drayrk flies off the roof and onto his shoulder. Then, they vanish. A lightning strike hits the building that they were in, obliterating it. When the smoke clears. The burning body of Weron lies in the center of the crater. His mind crying for salvation. Salvation that would never come.
