While we of Lake Perseverance doubt the credibility of this report, we must stand firm against space-based militaries.
Eyes up above
The Ultimatum from The United Kingdom of Miotia-Candor-Kjanu was, to nobody’s surprise, rejected immediately by the Serpentean government. The 6 hours at ground zero of the detonation were spent wisely, and the dead/wounded were counted to nearly one thousand men turned into ash or charred immensely. President Khonar has already mentioned the possibility of the day of the blast being turned into a commemorative holiday.
Before the 6 hours at the blast site were up, Khonar ordered an assault on Ebisui, the scale of which rivaled the first battle of Ebisui. Artillery pounded the city's defenses, shattering the earth as hundreds of tanks and many thousands of men charged forward into the fight. The air force has prioritized support of the attack as well, strafing enemy positions when not in combat with hostile planes. A smaller scale siege of Hachiman has also been ordered, and troops rushed to surround the city.
Marius was, of course, one of the many men tasked to Ebisui, along with his new brother in arms Mihai. They have been sent as reserves, to go wherever the attack is doing worst. Fortunately for them, they have yet to run into battle for now.
In the meanwhile, a small squadron of 5 planes have been sent southwest to scout around Izanagi, led by "Stallion". Mist, Vicinity, Zeus and Eureka follow him, keeping in contact to make sure they sweep the ground. Their exact motive is unknown at the moment.
The outskirts of Nio were not spared from the action of the day as well, but perhaps with less destruction. As the ACRS unit in the city had previously been disabled by a well-coordinated air strike team, the only job left was to fix the thing up and bypass the cyber-security. The fixing part proved to be much less difficult than it would’ve otherwise been thanks to experience from participation in the Miotian civil war. The hacking, on the other hand, was no easy feat, but thanks to a skilled team of hackers (and some surprisingly outdated software) the task was completed and the ACRS was effectively in Serpentean hands. After some brief celebration, the unit 1 were aimed directly at the Kanataro ACRS unit to the West so that it could potentially retaliate if the other fires, unit 2 aims at the Ebisui ACRS, unit 3 aims at the Amaterasu powerline, unit 4 aims at the Sieg ACRS, Kotoamatsukami is targeted by the 5th, the 6th aims directly at Edokyuuria’s and the last 2 aim at the sky to defend it from aerial and orbital attacks. Unit 3 has begun charging up immediately. A small team of soldiers have been tasked to keep it safe from infiltration, while at the moment they will all be hiding in an underground safe-bunker to keep themselves unharmed while the ACRS fires.
President’s meeting
Khonar waited impatiently for the leader of the Fier party, Ankin Khonechev, whom had summoned him to the room for a short meeting. As he sat tapping his fingers against the wood, Khonechev finally speedwalked through the door with a frown upon his face. He started questioning Khonar immediately.
“Sir, I hate to have to bother you at an important time like this, but i have to ask you- why would you not go looking for peace already? We started a world war, one that we can;t win, because you want revenge? Are the lives of-”
“Silence for just a moment, mr. Khonechev. Are you seriously saying we can’t win this? We have won every battle, made advances that would make Danila proud. We are winning. Of course we are outnumbered, but this has always been our specialty, Khonechev. Our spirit can pull us through every battle. That’s the lovely part of us Serpenteans, you see, we don’t need numbers. Have you only come here to be pessimistic?”
Khonechev gave a long frown. There was pretty obvious worry in his eyes.
“I understand that we are winning, Khonar, but at what cost? Our gains have been swift, yes, but soon we will be facing the entire World Union, and then even with our allies we will be practically doomed. This isn’t worth the lives of our precious men, sir. There is a better way to find revenge, there has to be. What if it really wasn’t them?”
“You’re saying the assassin himself was lying? I know when someone is being genuine, and the people interrogating did as well. The Candorian allies will surely underestimate us, as all do, and it will continue going the same as it is now. I will not rest until I achieve my victory. Danila deserves this.”
Khonechev grabbed his items and walked out. “I see I can not change your mind, president. I do hope you’re right, but if we somehow do win, it better be damn worth it.”
Khonar was left looking quite aggravated, but perhaps with a bit of doubt left over from the conversation.
Against All Odds.
The Barbz are beginning to make some progress in Tir A Deas, and from an online poll, it seems the general public support them (85% support).
In order to raise patriotism for the current occupants, A local force has been created to fend off the "Barbz" with the aid of the Serpentean air force. Meanwhile the prison guards have sent a video of someone throwing a chicken nugget at Jean to the leader of the empire to discourage them.
HI THIS IS JEAN, I DO NOT ENDORSE THIS INVASION LEAVE ME ALONE :((((
Meanwhile on Spears island, Bjork has raised an "army of me" and would appreciate assistance
As for the invasion, the giant squids have turned back due to feeling as though the invasion will fail, but the Barbz press on

"So, as you can see, sir, there appears to be several large groups in Soust Calica's capital city," Lieutenant Danvers said, shining a LASER pointer at a big holographic table, showing detailed heat signatures from the area. "SDII agents in the city suggest that they're protest groups, looking to topple the current regime and install a democratic one."
"Then these people are at an extreme risk..." Admiral Bushwell said to herself, idly. "We need to get assets in play to protect them. They could well be the key to peace. Get the Tehran to have a CAP on the area at all times. Contact the General and get him to send a brigade into the area, and ask SDII to find out whoever the leader of this resistance group is and get in touch."
"Yes sir."
A day or two after the protests started, Commonwealth aircraft could be seen flying over the area. Despite initial fears that they were making an attack run, they soon turned out to be a blessing, as aid supplies and weapons were dropped to help the protesters defend themselves in case of attack by Calican military forces.
I hope you understand, of course, that this means you will not have access to any of our technology, going forward. Any advances in transhuman science will have to be made on your own.

To stop the protests from growing and the resistance gaining strength. The SC dresses a man up as a protester and fires on SC soldiers who then return fire into the crowd. First reports say 10 people were killed. The Supreme Leader has ordered all protests to stop for civilian safety.
Rebel Leader Naballa has blamed the SC for killing more innocents. Thankful, since AusValia controls SC networks they allow the broadcast of Naballa.
Following in the steps of the previous administration, the Vaixi'u government has continued efforts to grow the agricultural industry by putting up tariffs on foreign produce and subsidizing Bhaya transportation infrastructure to facilitate and cheapen the transfer of food from farms to where it must go. Following these procedures, agriculture has boomed and become one of Bhayawala's fastest growing industries. With a surplus soon expected, Bhayawala reaches out to other countries that may be interested in purchasing Bhaya produce or even energy.
As part of the infrastructure development, the NGLC has been tasked with mapping an efficient path for a national rail system with more rural stops in an effort to connect the country and bridge the West-East split in population. Many expect manufacturing jobs to increase as a result in the near future. All seems bright in Bhayawala.

1. Nicholas Romanus
2. Roman Maximilian Ungern
3. Mary Magdalene
4. Tálsi Nkampárnt
5. Petros Simeon
6. Antonis Christoulis

8. Emmanuel DiBona
Viewers should take notice that all three women that qualified for the debate (Magdalene, Nkampárnt, and Cyrus) appeared in the top eight, suggesting a possible slight cultural shift.
After weeks of arguments and discussions, the High Court concluded its public testimony on the legality of euthanasia. The Court has heard from close to 100 public citizens, multiple healthcare professionals, mental health professionals, and the Director of the Council of Health and Humans Services. The Court is not expected to have a decision until later this year.
The Upper House has confirmed formed Lower House Councilman Philip Vanhorn as the next Ambassador to Bosnie. Ambassador Vanhorn was once a Councilman in the Lower House, but left his seat after the election of President Walker to serve in the Department of the States. Vanhorn has worked with multiple foreign nations and has assisted in multiple trade deals and the peace talks between the nation of Greshimprea and Soust calica. The Ambassador said his first goal is to, “Start by creating a trade deal to better serve each of our citizens, and then I hope we can build on that to build a lasting friendship on the world stage.” The Ambassador will officially take over his post at the beginning of next week.
A massive wildfire in the city of Gold Coast has many on high alert. The fire, which is believed to have been started by a lightning strike, has started just east of the Northridge Mountain Range, in the county of Sedgwick. Firefighters began to fight the blaze about 10:30 this morning and say that the fire is still 0% controlled. Weather forecasters are warning that high winds and little rain over the next few days could cause the fire to intensify more than it already has. Mayor Bradford has already issued mandatory evacuations of everyone on the east side of the ridge, with recommended evacuations of everyone on the northeast end of Sedgwick. The Federal Emergency Council stated that they are monitoring the situation and have already begun finding alternative housing for the victims.
The battle continues to rage on in Soust calica, as the allied forces begin to take over the city of Garza after days of heavy battle. While the soldiers fight for control over another city, AUS intelligence has been working tirelessly to take down the Supreme Leader and his organization. Late last night, AUS Special Forces found the safe house of the SC General, and were able to take him into custody in a secure location. This is a great day for allied forces as a major player in the SC government and the head of the military has been eliminated. The Defense Council is hoping this leads to a collapse of SC forces.
The Department of the States has sent a delegation to Bosnie to testify before their government on the military actions in Soust Calica. The President has ordered the Defense Council to fully disclose all necessary elements of the war to any nation with questions. The Defense Council has also begun working with the nation of Conglagateia, as they have offered 1,700 troops for support in the SC. The AUS thanks you for your contribution, and will honor your request to keep your troops out of the main battle. The DC has already begun drafting plans to help rebuild the country after the war and offers your soldiers the ability to serve in those cities occupied by allied forces.

Corporal Kane sat in the truck, bouncing up and down. Several other soldiers accompanied him within the back, a flapping canvas acting as their roof. The noisy, roaring engine drowned out most sounds, with the occasional shout breaking the monotony. Outside, the newly paved roadway offered a smooth ride, a contrast to the constant potholes and roughness which had become accepted just months ago.
Suddenly, the vehicle turned sharply, flinging Kane into another soldier.
“Watch it!” A sharp voice quipped.
Kane raised his hands in exasperation.
“What the Hell was I supposed to do?” he angrily inquired.
No response.
Kane soon fell back to thinking, a task which kept boredom at bay. Thoughts of his current orders, politics, his family and his boyfriend all flooded his mind. In what seemed like a minute, the rural landscape transformed into a steel jungle, skyscrapers and offices surrounding the narrow, clogged streets.
Kane was just one of many rapidly mobilized divisions assigned to strategic garrison, protecting the Confederacy’s shores from any threats. Due to a vague threat sent to the national government, the nation is on high alert. Soldiers, aircraft, and vessels patrol the shores, searching for any attempt of an invasion. Puritans abroad anxiously await for the suspected attack.
Overseas, the New English Expeditionary Forces (N.E.E.F) faced a moral issue. New English soldiers guarding the perimeter of the Annex Military Base were greeted with a growing crowd of war-weary parents, some cradling starving children. The garrison, wary of a possible terrorist attack, reported the issue to General Yasmin.
As the troops awaited further instruction, the crowd began to become restless, some taking out their frustrations on each other. To prevent a riot forming, AusValia spared its reserve division to assist in peacekeeping. Only after an hour orders were received.
A humanitarian aid camp was hastily assembled in a firing range. Tents adorned with red crosses shuddered, as medical personnel inside scrambled for the influx of patients. At the border, the Soust Calicans were informed of of the required process to safely seek aid. Each individual was subjected to a thorough search, removing any perceived weapons and dangerous items. Families weren’t separated, though two to three families shared the same tent. Each person undertook a brief medical exam. Healthy individuals received military rations and domestic supplies. Those suffering from illnesses were admitted to the infirmary. With the increased consumption of supplies, transport convoys and cargo aircraft have increased shipments.
To all the nations that can, please assist in the humanitarian efforts, either through material lease or granting asylum to the refugees in need.

REPRESENTATIVES ELECTED FOR REFORM MEETING
The Commission has counted the votes and signed off on the validity of the results, confirming the elected representatives as follows:
-Nicholas Romanus
-Roman Maximilian Ungern
-Mary Magdalene
-Tálsi Nkampárnt
-Petros Simeon
-Antonis Christoulis
-Emmanuel DiBona
-Justinian Augustine
The results come as no surprise, as only a few days after the post-debate polls were released, Agathe Cyrus’s ex-husband released details about Agathe’s infidelity during their relationship. Justinian Augustine was quick to capitalize on the information, propelling both him and Emmanuel DiBona up a spot.
As per a prior agreement between the Caesar and the Ekklisiastés, due to the caucus seating over three members in the meeting, the Patriarch of Constantinus will be allowed to attend.
