15 CANDIDATES QUALIFY FOR REFERENDUM DEBATE
The 30-day deadline has come and gone, and it has been declared that we will see 15 candidates up on the debate stage. They have organized themselves into caucuses based on their goals for reform. The caucuses have been labeled as Parvus (minor reform), and Metrios (moderate reform).
The caucuses and candidates constitute the following, in order of most candidates and signatures:
Armata Columbae (Metrios) - Reform the foreign policy and involvement of the Empire while building up homeland defense; their main goal is to remove the ICC from Praefectus.

Today The High Court began to hear arguments on the legality of euthanasia, an issue that has garnered up a lot of controversy. Capital Police estimated that today’s crowd of protestors neared 5,000, with the possibility of another 3,000 protesting in the Square. For the first round of arguments, the Court has called upon 7 experts in the medical field, including the Director of the Council of Health, Cynthia Wilson. 10 other experts have been called from various departments of psychology as well as 100 people from the general population. Arguments are expected to go throughout the month until the Court feels confident enough to make a decision.
The Upper House Confirmed Jordan Ramsey as the Director of the Safety of Food and Drug Council, which was formed by the President as part of his yearly budget. The goals of this department were to help oversee the food safety standards as well as work with pharmaceutical companies to ensure safe and adequate amounts of medication. Director Ramsey was picked by President Walker because of his background with food inspections and helped to create that bill that set up the organization he is now in charge of.
AUS intelligence confirms the takeover of Mogul by allied forces. Ground personnel were able to push Soust calica troops back into the fourth quadrant, which led to the exchange of gun fire over the last several days until AUS ground forces led an assault into the area. The convoy composed of two tanks, six Humvees with gunners, and two support trucks entered the area and began to section it off. Most SC soldiers had already fled or had been killed, leading to a final push by the SCG which had taken shelter in a hotel. AUS forces secured the hotel and began to clear it floor-by-floor. Parts of Beijing, the capital of Feng Dynasty, were in flames today after a major terrorist attack. The Great Western Market and about 100 buildings were destroyed. Another fire in the Imperial City district burnt down three embassies and two government residences, the Forbidden City escaped with only minor damage. A few hours later, police arrested nine individuals from a terrorist group named the “Democracy Revolution” and is due to face trial in several days. If found guilty by the jury, they will be sentenced to the death penalty.
The Emperor has said to journalists in a press conference at the Palace that

Today in Britney Jean center a large protest group gathered to protest the new Minaj regime, in response various insults were hurled by Barbz and several unsold copies of Nicki Minaj's Queen album were thrown at protesters. Around 20 may be injured.

OOC: For those who are new, unaware, etc, the nation of Sierlatala/ Community of Sierlatala is breaking away from the Federation of Telada. Sierlatalan forces refer to these pro-independence groups, whilst Provincial/Pro-Teladan forces refers to people of the Province of Sierlatala who are loyal to the Teladan regime. i.e the fledgling nation of Sierlatala is geographically located in the federal province of Sierlatala, which is part of Telada.
Operation Swordfish, the lend-lease operation being conducted by East lismore has been absolutely crucial in stabilising the frontline of the new nation of Sierlatala. In particular the artillery and anti-tank weapons lended have given great confidence to the irregular forces being deployed against Telada's provincial troops, and have boosted their morale after the discouragement that ensued when it was announced that Telada was deploying three full-strength divisions to the region.
Notably, the large parts of the port town of Chereborg have fallen to the First Guards Regiment, and Patriotic Brigade 'Restev'. Assisted by East Lismorean commandos and over a company of Provincial Marines who had defected from Telada, the fighting currently is in the industrial shipyard district, where a number of corvettes and supply vessels are undergoing refits. Sierlatalan forces are still fighting hard to take the shipyards intact, though the pro-Teladan 'Chereborg Lawkeepers' and other provincial troops are resisting firmly.
The provincial capital of Dombov is now under the control of the new nation of Sierlatala. A small number of buildings are still holding out, including the Teladan History Museum, the Federal Police HQ, and the fortified Brislik barracks. Varadelliv, in the north-west, is being used as the de facto capital of the Province of Sierlatala, and is the current base of operations for Teladan forces. Sierlatalan locals unless involved with official business in this city are under martial law, due to the possibility of their loyalty to either Sierlatala or the Sierlatalan Revolutionary Front, which does not support either the new community or Telada.
Six more villages have suffered a similar fate at the hands of the unknown group who recently terrorized another area, slaughtering everyone they could find. Other than one, of these attacks have occurred within the Community's current borders, but mostly in the middle area of the Province of Sierlatala, which is not fully controlled by any faction at this time. The Sierlatalan Revolutionary Front has claimed they are in control of the populous city of Reulensk, however this is yet to be confirmed.

For weeks after Udimi was convicted, politicians around the country, from rural towns like Īsimà, to the bustling metropolis of Lunhayu, have begun to run extensive, but often poorly planned, campaigns to win public support. At first, the people were greatly polarized and no candidate seemed clear to win. However, this all changed with a single event. Malia Viaxi'u had already garnered a large amount of support for her many popular green policies, but was seen as radical due to her aggressive foreign policy, such as an advocacy for a cut down on the amount of immigrants let into the country. Then, in a small port city near the border with the nation of AusValia, the fourth floor of an apartment complex blew up killing 27 people, and wounding 83. On their way to the scene, police ran into a rushed, suspicious looking driver fleeing the scene and heading towards the outer agriculture sector. When detained, various other explosives were found in the back of their van. After thorough investigation, the man was tracked back to the nation of Soust calica, well known for its acts of terror. While investigating, two main theories popped up as to why the man would do such a thing. Some argue it was an attack on the innocents of Bhayawala while others think it was an attack meant for AusValia, an enemy to Soust calica. Proponents of the latter cite the proximity of the capital Jamestown to the scene of the terror attack as evidence the terrorist was headed into AusValia. Regardless, this event boosted the popularity of Malia Vaixi'u and her bolder foreign policy. Fast forward a few rousing speeches and Vaixi'u began to dominate the polls. In the end, Malia was able to win with 73.82% of the vote with a turnout of about 85%. Immediately after her victory in the election, she assembled her cabinet and began to push for restrictions on immigration. Her first proposition to the National Assembly is the Fair Zadhima Bill, named after the town that was attacked. Among other points, it pushes for a travel ban on certain countries viewed as aggressors, the limiting of international passenger flights, and a monthly quota of migrants entering Bhayawala that, once reached, will bar more people from entering the country until the next month. Exempt from this are refugees and tourists. Many believe this is only the beginning of her policies on immigration and believe she will push much further. Voting on this bill is expected to begin in a couple of weeks. The government is now back on its feet and running forwards.
The Feng Dynasty accepts these gifts with sincere gratitude. The Empire seeks contribute to the keeping of peace and prosperity in order to make up for the long isolation in the region. The Bureau of Diplomacy is always open to new alliances and the building of new foreign embassies.

With tensions brewing to the north, the many talented souls within LAW began an externally inspired take on the ever shrouded background of the provinces and greater Jezabelstien history, the twelve-run series draws heavy influences from 
Kjanu and 
United Kingdom of Miotia-Candor with a distinctive local twist.
Titled 'The Sisterhood of the Eternal Rose', it features both likenesses and voices drawn from the secretive personal bodyguard of Irene herself, with considerable effort spent on realistic backgrounds and more than a billion frames of hand-drawn animation.
As a public project, it is available for free to any who show interest but the lack of high-density data-transfer out of Jezabelstien proper means the film stock is in high demand.

Our work has been abstracted but efforts were made to ensure important details remained, the first tentative arc which spans six of the twelve released two-hour screenings does cover the turbulent early days of our fair country.
Each of the chosen guardians draws much from the province's history and culture, though to match what we've seen abroad some more... exotic liberties were taken, though the actual members of the sisterhood were most enthusiastic, a shot at worldwide fame proved to be quite the motivator and working with them proved both enlightening and enjoyable.
Our further thanks goes to the many members of Seraphim Industriale and Niaad Nautical Engineering for the equipment on show, with special mention to Jezabel Aeronautica for the impressive patriotic flyovers upon our grand reveal.

President Ostrav has announced a massive push by the Gresh government to create a space program, to assist in further research. At the same time, we obviously want to gain a military advantage in space exploration.
In the aftermath of the Beijing attacks, millions were given to the rebuilding of the western markets and the surrounding residential areas. Several embassies are currently being rebuilt in the central city.
