[TEST] Roleplay in the South Pacific
Roleplay is a great way to develop the lore of your nation, both on your own and through interacting with other players and their nations. Whether you're looking for realistic political intrigue, envisioning a futuristic science-fiction empire, or seeking a magical medieval kingdom, we've got something for you!
What is roleplay?
In general, roleplay refers to acting out the role of a person or character. Here in the South Pacific, we usually roleplay different countries. Some examples of what that might entail include:
writing stories about your people
acting out the part of government leaders, ambassadors, or ordinary citizens
creating official government statements
publishing news articles from your country
We love to experiment, so if something you have in mind isn't on the list, don't fret! You can always be the first to introduce it.
What roleplay universes are there?
Here in the South Pacific, we have three roleplay canons (like different story settings, or different universes):
Pacifica is a modern-tech roleplay on an Earth-like planet, providing a great opportunity to delve into realistic and multifaceted politics, diplomacy, media, and news. If you're interested in politics or international relations, then Pacifica is a great fit for you!
A1-0 is a sci-fi canon, set roughly 10,000 years in the A1-0 sector of the Lampshade Galaxy. Featuring a variety of species, faster-than-light travel, and a blend of both science fiction grounded by realism and inspired by fantasy, it's a great fit for anybody looking for a futuristic outlet for their imagination!
Aurora is a fantasy canon set with the backdrop of medieval-era technology, breathtaking nature, dynamic kingdoms, and, of course, magic. If you take inspiration from Tolkien or the Elder Scrolls, or have your own imagine for the world of fantasy, then Aurora would be a great choice.
No matter which roleplay canon(s) you choose, you'll have the chance to claim your spot on the map for that canon and join a community of fellow roleplayers to develop your country alongside!
How can I roleplay?
Our roleplay takes place on our regional forum, allowing us to categorize not just our different canons but also different types of posts within them. It's also a great place to meet other roleplayers. Creating an account and getting started with roleplay is completely free and takes just a few minutes; all you need to do is 
create an account and then head over to the roleplay category for Pacifica, A1-0, or Aurora.
