Welcome to 10000 Islands! Our region has a lengthy and impressive history that has been placed in a series of holidays we celebrate together each year, each for a variety of different reasons. Read about their meanings below and check the dates to see which holiday is approaching!

January 4 - Constitution Day: Date of the ratification of the constitution in 2004

January 25 - Founders Day/Grub Day: Date of the founding of Grub, 2003, also known as Grub Day

February 10 - Delegates Day: Commemorating past UN and WA Delegates throughout the history of XKI for their work and dedication to the region

April 13 - Anime Daisuki Day: Honouring the accomplishments of the great XKI and TITO nation, Anime daisuki

April 28 - Fleeb Day: Recalling one of our most influential early Islanders, Fleeb for their work in establishing the foundation of the region as it is today

May 8 - TITO Day: Recognising current and fallen veterans in the service of TITO

June 23 - Knights of TITO Day: Honours Knights of TITO, both active and retired

July 4 - Kanta Hame Day: Honors Kanta Hame for their exemplary work within the region

July 30 - Empire of Power Defense Day: Date of the heroic repulse of the invaders that initially attempted to raid XKI

August 14 - 10000 Islands Distinguished Service Medal Day: A day to honour those with the highest nonmilitary award a 10000 Islands nation can receive. Nations usually are awarded this medal for contributing to the betterment of the region in an outstanding manner.

September 14 - Commendation Day: This holiday honours the date that the 10000 Islands was awarded its second regional commendation.

October 3 - Islantines Day Commemorates the anniversary of Hockeynutville and Bahamamamma, two nations who first met in the 10000 Islands and later got married in real life.

October 8 - NationStates Day: Birth of Nationstates, 2002, founding of [violet]

October 19 - Empire of Power Annexation Day: Date of the annexation of the previously mentioned invader region that tried to attack XKI in 2003

November 4 - Wootsockens Day: In celebration of the union of Woonsocket and Improving wordiness on the anniversary of their wedding

November 5 - Ananke Day: Honouring Ananke II for their legendary accomplishments and contributions to XKI

November 15 - Shelter's Taco Island Day: Celebrating XKI's popular spamming section, named after a beloved spammer no longer with us and deeply missed

December 1 - Improving Wordiness Day: honouring Improving wordiness for the fantastic contributions within the region and all that they have done for XKI

December 6 - 10000 Islands TITO Medal Day: honours every awarded TITO nation for their service and dedication
