Hello friends! I have an issue in my queue about compulsory post-mortem organ harvesting. I know it would certainly save lives, but I'm very uncomfortable with the possible ethical implications. Is it violation of the sanctity of the body?

Does anyone here have any thoughts on the issue?

Simple: Your body, your choice. It's a different case on abortion, but whether it be smoking dope or refusing medication, it's up to you.

A good example related to this is...if I am not mistaken, Jehovah's witnesses do not donate blood to non members...don't quote me on that, though.

Nah, it's fine. People get cremated and such, after all, so it's hardly the worst that could happen with regards to bodily sanctity.

But in positive news, there is a (currently) optional display overhaul for NS. If you haven't used it yet, it has lots of cool features, such as updates, likes, etc.

I've just sorted out banners and it all seems pretty cool.

So many of them! It gives me a reason to look at my issues more.

Also, I've been reclassified as a Psychotic Dictatorship. Needless to say, I'm a bit annoyed.

I was a Father Knows Best state recently, so yeah, it's all gone wrong. Ah well, I'll just make a bunch of stuff legal and fix it soon.

That probably works :)

I like how my environment makes China's seem like Eden, but my trout fishing sector is still larger than seven other nations.

With 100% of voters approving(two abstentions), the Parliamentary Committees Act has passed!

Well it's finals week so I'll be able to be on a bit more over the next few weeks. I had 3 powerpoint projects to do simultaneously the last month or so and one of which I needed to convert into a video format so I was really busy. Anyway I'm just glad I have some more time on my hands finally.

I also have a somewhat funny story:
One of my friends noticed that I was wearing a Red Sox hat in class one day and he asked if he could borrow it to "wipe his a** with". I said "you're a Yankees fan aren't you?" to which he said "yeah, the Yankees are awesome!" He started listing off all these reasons why he thinks the Yankees are amazing and one in particular was Babe Ruth. I said Babe Ruth is one of the reasons I hate the Yankees and he was like "Oh c'mon! the Bambino is awesome!" to which I said "Yeah, I know. That's why he should've stayed with the Red Sox." But in the end, we both realized that, despite our rivalry, we can both agree on the fact that it's really funny when Cubs fans talk crap because the Cubs haven't won the World Series since 1908. This follows the same principle as people who haven't beaten "Halo: Combat Evolved", which is, 'if you haven't done it by now, you never will.' Because that's 106 years they've gone without winning. By the way, if you are a Cubs fan, I'm sorry if this offends you. But seriously though haha
