New Factbook entry, Vessel Name Prefixes.
HSS - His/Her Serenity's Ship, used by the Royal Morridane Navy for its surface warships. Submarine is used instead of Ship for the RMN's submarine fleet, likewise the Royal Space Force uses Spaceship for its vessels.
HSNGS - His/Her Serenity's New Garrack Ship, similar to the above but used by New Garrack.
CFA - Commonwealth Fleet Auxiliary, a civilian manned fleet owned by the Morridane Ministry of Defence to provide logistical support to the Royal Morridane Navy.
CSA - Commonwealth Space Auxiliary, similar to the CFA above but is directly administrated by the Royal Space Force's Transport Command.
CCS - Commonwealth Commercial Spaceship, used for civilian owned and operated merchant space vessels.
NGCS - New Garrack Commercial Spaceship, similar to the above but for New Garrack registered vessels.

I always envisaged the CCA ships to be very, Dead Space universe like. Assuming I ever develop a credible space program of of CCA tech proportions, I want my shipping to be like that. Rugged, dirty (with some pretty bits), and death traps because of the complete absence of health and safety policies.
I want to test out my new drop ships! Redesigned my troop carriers and gave them some hangar space. The drop ships might be shamelessly stolen from "Aliens"
I wanted to do something 'similar', as in replace V-22's with a 40k Imperial Guard Valkyrie/Alien Marine drop ship ripoff. But designing something that cool to be be reasonably realistic in NS MT terms is becoming quite difficult.
Yeah, I'm using a bit of hand wavium and Commonwealth anti-grav to give them surface to orbit ability. Also we only have six drop ships in service, trying to move up to nine.
Also massive reduction in armament and it cannot transport any modern APCs sadly. Too heavy.
TMI's navy has its own dropship program.

Now make it ten times larger, put a heat shield on front, make it out of an osmium-irridum alloy, and stick a squad of powered infantry on the back. Spray the Infantry down with a heat retardant thing, crank their nuclear reactors up to full, and shoot them towards the ground with just enough power in the lander's engines to jink them all over the sky and slow them to a safe velocity before hitting the ground.
