What about the Barney song guys? C'mon, let's sing it together! A one, and a two....

Happy Birthday Absolution!

Happy birthday, everyone!

Only modern music I'm a fan of is power metal. Some country too, but mostly metal. Because that's the genre the ideas and imagination fled to.

Songs about...
King Arthur: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGkK9ctxP3o
Band Mascots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PtGFIrvtiAs
Werewolves: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmeM5CZM7_4
Norse Mythology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50uGSZhyje4
Medieval Battles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSyYyfWUFk0
Modern Heroes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXYnBc0gFc8
Peter Pan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6H79HZfYPXs
Classic Literature: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3HAq0cWu_w (in this case, a modern musical retelling of the story of Faust)
Modern fiction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK2jM6EW6xo (Game of Thrones based song)
Original Stories: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9T5fSmXLlA (that one is the best piece on a concept album that band made)
Dystopian concepts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfc-qffHJbQ

And much more. The variety of subjects explored and the music it's set to is why I really love some modern metal, (power metal is best) and why no other modern genre can hold it's jockstrap. \m/

Whoo! :D

Is it that time of year already? Happy birthday fellow Absolutionists and assorted plebs.

CC, we'll need a triple dose of the cider from behind the back for good ol' Assorro.

Cider? An occasion like this deserves more than spiked juice, GBC.

*pulls out a bottle of Absinthe*

Pass this around like a champ, would you?

Happy Birthday us :)

*best singing voice* . . . "I love you, You love me . . . We're a happy family" . . . hmmm well that didn't take off as I intended!!

*awkward silence*

*holds out glass* . . . Top me up kind Sir!! :-)

Haven't had the pleasure of absinthe yet, so I'll play it safe and stick with the cider for now.

Free, what's this I've been hearing about new brews from Guinness?

Thanks for not leaving me hanging out there with the Barney song Freeoplis. I don't know what's wrong with the rest of the group. Perhaps they don't know the words? I should telegram everyone the words. Fancy everyone singing that whenever a new member arrives.

Yes, I know exactly what I was doing 8 years ago today. How about you?

What about this Coffee Cakes?

Guinness? Did somebody mention Guinness? Sign me up!

And I am now officially a day late, but Happy Birthday Absolution!

I can not believe I have a rich/poor divide. We got rid of the poor so how can that be possible? At least, I believe we got rid of the poor.

I do love me some Us and Them, Dark Side of the Moon. I got see a cover band play that entire album. It was fantastic.

Yeah there's a few new bottle varieties of Guinness released, but they always seem to release something new every now and again, I stick to the regular pint of the black stuff, if it's not broke don't fix it!! :)

Guinness is great, but I wouldn't have it with fish. I don't know why, the flavors and textures just don't mix.

In the past two days, I have received Issue 293 regarding cultural reputation and concert halls three times IN A ROW.

That happened to me a few weeks back, different issue but same problem (as I read over that, I realize it is completely interchangeable).

I want the Red-Rimmed Eyes issue 3 times in a row like that. >_>
It would get me back on top of the World Census for drug consumption. >_>

I just want the pride and privilege of being #1 again. lol

So, I met an NS friend from a different region in Boston today.
Walked around the city and took in some junk food. xD

It was fun, though.

And then I made plans with my sister for next month.
We're gonna go see the autistic-friendly performance of Lion King in Boston.

Autistic friendly?

I'll be back soon properly guys, finals finished last friday and they had us back in mon/tues/wed so i've not had a chance to recover. Going away for a long weekend and then i'll explain social norms to sinovet and get you all off my land. I was advertising land but internally to private builders for development of... well. That's for me to know and you to panic.

Also, for feck's sake Scotland. Quebec. That's all im saying. If people truely believe we'll get devo-max then they havent noticed some conservative MPs already complaining.

Yes, twice now, Quebec has held referendums. Alberta and Texas seem to think oil and gas are NOT exhaustible resources and for many years, decades even, they've both bandied about the word "succession". Now it's Scotland's turn come around and from the reports I'm getting it's middle-aged folk that predominately believe Scotland economically stable enough. Separatists are like weeds. They need constant attention and pruning or they will lead us down a garden path.

Tearing a solid piece of fabric will require mending. Just how much is the uncertain question. I'll find a long, steep hill and super-saturate it with water for anyone really wanting to discover how difficult dragging yourself uphill through mud actually is. Sure hope no one throws boulders down on you but being Human after all, they probably will.

I am so pleased that Scotland voted NO.

Aye. Apparently it's supposed to be less harsh on the senses and stuffs like that.
Works for me because I have a crapload of issues with that, so I really want to see that show.

Also, godspeed and good luck Tam. :)

Sinovet...I have got to know; where did you come up with such a challenging question? Each author that you listed is great in their own way, often depending on what the reader is looking for. I wish I could vote, but I think I will abstain.
