We did manage to squeeze in an hour of the British Museum, I didn't see the skeletons though, but I probably saw less of the museum than you did. We spent most of the time there looking at the Egyptian section and various Greek / Roman sculptures. I saw the Rosetta stone which was pretty cool, another thing I studied in my art history classes.
