Your argument would be stronger if you would explain why "does not apply" doesn't apply and preferably provide examples. For instance, how can a straight man be a bottom?

Simple. A straight man can be a bottom if he's submissive, or likes being pegged, both. Or, if he just identifies that way.
Asexual was the only correct identity in that option.
I had only brought it up, because this region is really not made solely of gay men, but all LGBTQIA persons, and I believe if the poll had merely said asexual or no top/bottom in relationship in that option, there would be no issue.
