If we use diplomacy and propoganda, we can make socialism seem more attractive, hence less people not wanting it and a lot of socialist people willing to work, fight, even die for their country. Socialism means equality, among resources and people, so if we intend to oppress the newly joined, we aren't socialists. We'd just be a bunch of capitalist pigs. Win through words, not war, and I can guarantee that more will join the USSR... Speaking of... I've noticed that our fair region is comprised of many LARGE oblasts, with a large number of small ones towards the belly of the bull... perhaps we should divide the larger oblasts so we have more accompanying space for new nations? To make them feel less... weak in our society.
