Why does everything have to relate to trump? We get it, you don't like him, but you don't have to bring him up in every political conversation

1. Do a big poll for lots of different things on a forum somewhere all at the same time. This way, if advertised with a regional telegram, we can get lots of things passed or defeated at once and therefore, solve the problem immediately and quickly. This deals with the gridlock and we can do it with the current quorum, so long as people join the forum. Basically, this would be 'vote on everything at once'.
2. Otherwise, we should lower quorum. Because right now, nothing is able to be passed or going to be passed, even with week-long voting periods, quite simply because not enough people vote. Gridlock at this level is something that is probably not preferable. Lowering quorum would allow a voice to be taken as well as dealing with the fact that we can't pass anything (the WA is considering this too, actually).
The final option would be something like passing a bill that signs embassy power to the government. But if someone disagrees, a seconded veto petition could force it to a public debate and vote. However, I don't believe there is much any support for something like this.

does influence have any effect on the votes?

It does not. But I should make it clear that these are proposals and options which we can consider given the relentless failure to meet quorum requirements.

Foucaults garden

I've hoped for some kind of reverse "Anschluss", i.e. the annexation of Germany by Austria. Calling those Nazis "far-right leaders" ist nothing else then blowing smoke.

"Nazi" is not an argument. It's better to identify a position (e.g. "far-right) and then argue why this position is wrong. If you don't have a clear definition of "Nazi" the term is useless and insulting.

Really.

Isn't it quite ironic for a Serb to say that....

I'd say Germany.
But without the bias of being a German.... probably Italy. Beautiful country, nice people. Better weather.

Rubyna wrote:Favorite European Country?

Slovenia for how the cities and nature look, Italy for the culture, Serbia for the language, UK or Norway for the weather etc. etc.

Come to think of it, I don't have a European country I dislike. Maybe Denmark and Netherlands for the ''hard not-to-laugh when you hear'' tier languages.

It is ironic. I even said "really". Who says "really" when he/she means it really?

Galway-Dublin wrote:Australia.

Did you mean Austria? Australia is its own continent.
