Mac and I have established an interest between us toward making GD's off-site forum skin look like the forum skin you can view at the above link. Do any of you guys have any thoughts on the matter? The new potential forum skin looks a lot more interesting than the default skin that we have now, in my opinion.

Hello everyone. I am Free Ariadna, and I have heard from friends in real life about this region and NationStates. I am excited to get going with all of you.

Free Ariadna will be a nation that will have once been a major colonization zone for a few nations. However, massive storms cut them off and they are written off by their home nations as lost. Only recently- like now- do they make contact. And what is now there is this hodge podge of different cultures from around the region which have coalesced into one somewhat dysfunctional nation.

It sounds like it could be fun. Maybe old colonial masters return to claim old lands. Societal and cultural moors of eons past reemerge, along with radical new ideas from a society pushed to the brink!
Let us start a dialogue about who is part of my nation's history. How does that sound? I know the broad strokes of the four 'states' that make up Ariadna, but who wants in on it?

I'd gladly contribute a Hispanic population. Technically we also are a former colonized state, but you can be our Hispanic cousins, or perhaps we colonized you when we were imperial ourselves!
