Loading...Welcome to Fodlan, friend! I am the Noble State of Aegir! We have a lot of Black Eagle fans here, so Bernadetta love is (generally) appreciated. And I think I can speak for others here when I say that I would love to hear your story of getting to Fodlan quite interesting, the longer and more confusing the better. Feel free to join our Discord, too, that's where most of the activity is.
I'll join the discord in due time, but I will tell the story here for consistency's sake I suppose. A while back I got some friends back into NS after we'd forgotten about it for a while, and we wanted a region to sit in together. I hardly had a say in the matter, but we ended up joining Forest. We got a funny placement on the regional map of forest as well. Eventually, though I came to realize that some of the more active members of forest just kinda take their positions and selves way too seriously? If you look at my country name, I am not too serious. And then an election for "Forest keeper" came up, to which my friend spent DAYS writing an election campaign for, and I decided I didnt want to be a part of this region anymore. So I decided IF she won the election, I would leave. She did, so I left. The two options for where to go for me were between here, and Anime Nations Against Liberals because they're in equal part funny and fitting for my character I suppose. I ended up coming here because of my experience with Fire Emblem, and despite being met with moderate resistance I finally got out of Forest.
It probably sounds like less of a Journey in text than what it felt like truly, but it was very strange nonetheless.
Welcome to the region of Fodlan! If you like FE Three Houses (whose 5 year anniversary is approaching in a month, by the way). And this is certainly a more welcoming place than ANAL. Their affiliates, Iwaku, closed embassies with us without explanation. Nor do we have complex political infighting. Just hanging out and talking about Fire Emblem.
Really the only reason I would've picked ANAL is because last NDay when I learned of their existence, I laughed unnaturally hard at the fact that their acronym is, in fact, anal. I have a couple images on my phone of jokes about it even. I also recognize the character on the flag which is actually not something I can say often about anime despite it literally being in my motto.
For here... I kinda just like Fire Emblem. Anal had many more reasons to go and yet I made this decision. Dont know why, but I did.
