The North Pacific Empire of SWACURH is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by SWACKDADDY with an even hand, and renowned for its national health service. Its compassionate population of 3.058 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of SWACK City. The average income tax rate is 95%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Politicians are to be found scavenging bins at night to supplement their income, the number of students attending university has reached a record high, houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries, and an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. SWACURH's national animal is the duck, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Ducks Unlimited, and its currency is the duckbuck.
