The Federation of Russia is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Vladimir Putin with an iron fist, and notable for its suspicion of poets. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 3.503 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Law & Order, with areas such as Education and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Moscow. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 33%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

Popular political cartoonists are thrown in jail for inciting dissent, citizens receive notices of disenfranchisement along with their parking tickets, online tourism reviews of Russia are suspiciously positive and amazingly similar, and newspapers cannot report anything about politicians without their explicit consent. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Russia's national animal is the Bear, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Russian Orthodox - Kyiv Patriarchate, and its currency is the Ruble.

Russia is ranked 29th in Russia and 98,707th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 11 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
