The Armed Republic of Pristina is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Blaise van Persie with an even hand, and notable for its anti-smoking policies. The compassionate population of 1.436 billion Pristinans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Chester. The average income tax rate is 72%, and even higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Photographers have to apply for a license to photograph Blaise van Persie, military spending recently hit a new high, the government has ordered a moratorium on referenda, and main battle tanks stalk the woods of Pristina in search of Falcons. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Pristina's national animal is the Falcon, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its currency is the Pristin.

Pristina is ranked 2,020th in Balder and 90,354th in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -1 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
