The United Kingdom of Faltland is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Leader with an iron fist, and notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 2.557 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Deusant. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 78%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Uranium Mining.

Public loudspeakers constantly tell citizens they are "happy people", nuclear warheads are frequently launched into space as a warning to invading meteoroids, citizens rise at daybreak every day for mandatory exercise, and Faltland-made cars tend to catch fire in people's driveways. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Faltland's national animal is the OgoPogo, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the Fenn.

Faltland is ranked 4th in Rhalith and 28,082nd in the world for Most Influential, scoring 19 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
