Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 13.154 billion are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of FALCONKATS City. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Uranium Mining.

Prisoners work-share to cut down rising costs of keeping them in jail, the newspaper industry is subsidised by the government in order to keep it afloat, the government is reining in public spending, and the government seizes private property for the 'good of the people'. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. FALCONKATS's national animal is the griffen, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the falcongato.
