The Imperial Snowmageddon of Arctic Pwnage is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Chione with an iron fist, and remarkable for its parental licensing program. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.664 billion are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Snowpocalypse. The average income tax rate is 91%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Jails have become colloquially known as 'vampire houses', large sections of Arctic Pwnage have been named national reserves to protect the native tribes living there, guns are banned, and nudity is frowned upon. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Arctic Pwnage's national animal is the polar bear, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is The Mayan Doomsday Cult of 2012, and its currency is the blizzard.

Arctic Pwnage is ranked 13th in Minnesota and 98,103rd in the world for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring -7 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
