Hello there.

Question of the Day:

How do you feel about 'early access' games?

Tethys 13 wrote:My answer:
I am not a fan honestly, as I feel they rather spoil the first-time experience. Take Hades II, for example - I think it is such a shame that its likely largest moment of exposure comes when the game barely has any of the narrative longevity of its predecessor sorted out and half of the characters have rough or no art. However, if the alternative is to encourage the horribly unhealthy crunch-culture that permeates the game industry...

I don't mind them but I wouldn't be one to play them every step of the way. Gotta wait long enough that the experience is fresh. We don't all remember too good yah

Tethys 13 wrote:Question of the Day:

It's either a hit or a miss to be honest, I don't buy games that much anymore because I want to fully complete the ones I already have: (Dead Island, Terraria, Just Cause 2 / 3 and many others) So I'm pretty neutral about them.

TIL that there are such things as 'early access' games. Tomorrow I might learn what an 'early access' game actually is.

This QotD made me feel old!

Just one: Gana Dadag Gub Kur, though I prefer to call it a sister state, and it's also in Osiris. Its raison d'ętre is to provide better insight into how my usual decision-making would play out without the World Assembly's boot on my neck, though it has generated opportunities for fun, casual in-game roleplay too. At this point, it feels like a somewhat exaggerated version of my primary nation (this one), but with different historical and cultural flavor.

On the topic, the WA resolution presently at vote will likely have a significant impact on taxes (they will rise), and economic freedom (it will sink), much like what recently happened after the Fair Work Visas Act was passed.

So, if you're concerned about keeping the taxation rate at a reasonable level, and preserving economic freedom in your nation, it would make sense to vote against the Reef Preservation And Restoration act.

It is relatively easy to attain and maintain high levels of eco-friendliness and environmental beauty, without WA resolutions (as is evident in my sister nation, Gana Dadag Gub Kur, and so many other non-member states).

after 2 years i remembered that my password for this nation was saved on an old google account so wooo Zincistan is back

It's great that after two stagnant years you're galvanised once more!
