The Treaty of Hesperides (1st Draft)

by The Coalition of Quasi-Stellar Star Civilizations

We the Councilors of the Coalition and affiliates, as well as the delegate(s) of the Itzgari Empire, hereby declare the following terms to be acceptable, and agree to uphold them; if any of these terms are not upheld, consequences outlined in Artice VI shall take effect.

A.I: Establishment of Peace

    i. the state of war with the Coalition and Itzgari Empire in all belligerents shall be ended, and a state of peace shall take its place.

    ii. All Itzgari-affiliated troops shall be withdrawn from Coalition territory.

    iii. All Coalition-affiliated troops, with the exception of those purposed for reconstruction and aid, shall be withdrawn from Itzgari territory

    iv. All Imperium-affiliated troops shall be withdrawn from Itzgari territory.

    v. All belligerents shall sign a non-aggression pact to prevent future wars

A.II: Prisoner of War Exchange

    i. All Coalition prisoners of war shall be released immediately into QSN custody.

    ii. All Itzgari prisoners of war held in Coalition-affiliated camps, following a debriefing, shall be released into Itzgari custody.

    iii. The Imperium shall return all Itzgari prisoners of war into Itzgari custody.

A.III: Division of territory

    i. All Coalition-affiliated star systems and assets shall be returned to Coalition control.

    ii. The Itzgari Nation shall ced one-fifth (1/5) of its territory along the Coalition border to the Coalition

    iii. The Itzgari Nation shall cede one-fifth (1/5) to the Free World Coalition to be divided amongst its members.

    iv. The Itzgari Nation shall cede one-seventh of its remaining territory to the Imperium
    a. the Imperium shall be limited to these territories and none else
    v. All territory previously captured from existing powers shall be ceded by the Itzgari Nation to these powers, provided this does not interfere with the above clauses.

A.IV: Reparations

    i. The Itzgari Nation shall pay an equivalent sum of 865 trillion Quasi-Stellarian Credits to the Coalition.

    ii. The Itzgari Nation shall pay an equivalent sum of 10 trillion units of currency to each other existing power involved.

    iii. The Itzgari Nation shall immediately demilitarize and hold a standing military of no more than one million soldiers and a navy of no more than 100 ships.

A.V: Reorganization of the Itzgari Empire

    i. The Itzgari Nation shall remove itself of an emperor or other forms of absolute royalty and establish a democratic government of their choice.

    ii. A joint Free World Coalition holding force shall be placed in the Itzgari Capital to oversee reconstruction.

    iii. Those responsible for the atrocities committed during the war shall be put to a fair trial to determine guilt and punishment for their crimes.

A.VI: Repercussions

    i. Should any of the above fail to be met within one year of the signing of this treaty, disregarding monetary repercussions, punishment, ratified by a committee of those affected, shall be immediately dispensed to the wrongdoer.

We, the representatives at Hesperides do reaffirm that the long list of atrocities committed by the Itzgari Empire are grounds for this treaty and its effects as punishment; and that this treaty shall come into effect in the signatory nations immediately.
