As a proud and devoutly communist member of this region for the last decade now, barring our brief periods of inactivity, the nation of Hvalfyurden takes issue with your assertions. Principally that this region is "socialist in name alone". This is simply not true, and just because NationStates is a website primarily run by capitalists which does not adequately provide socialist / communist economic classifications, does not in fact mean that someone with a labeled "capitalist" economy is capitalist. Our nation, for example, is labeled a "Scandinavian Liberal Paradise", when we loathe liberals. Our policies reflect a communist nation, as well as our selections on issues, however we are still labeled as a form of capitalism due to the ratio between our economy, civil rights, and political freedoms. It is nonfactual to use this capitalist website's definitions as a basis for the "communist-ness" of a nation. It is better to assess their issue selections, their policies, and their personalities if they're vocal here on the USSR message board.

This region has been around providing a safe space for all communists of all kinds to call home for many years. Hvalfyurden is a Titoist-Leninist country, yet we coexist with Maoists, Hoxhaists, Stalinists, Marxists, and more. To diminish the safety and protection the USSR provides is to diminish the unity of the communist cause. By doing what you are doing, although you are more than welcome to exercise your own beliefs in this regard, your nations and aligned nations thereof are only serving to divide the communist cause. This is an international forum, not an intranational one. We are not arguing over what type of ideology we partake in or what ideology defines our policies, we are here as a unified front of communists of all shapes and sizes working together within a regional framework to support workers and human rights across the globe (on NationStates that is).

There may be capitalist nations within our midst, such is unavoidable. However, we as a collective should introduce them to the joys and prosperity of communism, break down their capitalist-propagandized perceptions of it, and show them that there are alternatives to a system build on exploitation and oppression. To threaten them with violence for partaking in a system in which they have been taught to see nothing but is to force them further from our cause. Our fellow small nations are not the problem, the exploitative larger nations influencing the propaganda are, kick them out and educate our peers.
