If your nation were ever to become a dystopia, what would that be like?
If our nation ever reverted back to a society with an emphasis on individuality, that would be our gateway towards a dystopian future for sure, and one certainly stepping away from the greater cause of our glorious Astral Syndicate. Hail the Inner Circle, without them we would be in ruin.
When you think about it, the irl version of my nation is a dystopia
The easiest dystopia that Myravka could become is your classic Marxist-Leninist Dictatorship. The kind with secret police, labor camps, democide based on social class and political affiliation, and an increasingly feared and worshiped dictator figure mainly concerned with loyalty instead of competency.
It's already considered a dystopia by some of its minorities. Current government has a 'tax and fine the gays' laws and they attempted to permit same sex civil unions and marriages in the country however many LGBT activists were expecting additional discriminatory taxes being levied on them if it passed the first reading in parliament.
Currently any demonstrations with the LGBT flag: face the consequences of the flag being confiscated, considered foreign infiltrators, demonstrators being fined and taxed exorbitantly, with the ring leaders either being send to a non - existent open air prison complex for a short duration of time (it is a death sentence without being worded as a death sentence).
If this current government considers a movement, an insurgency, people will begin to disappear from its membership and appear many years afterwards with stories to tell. A fate where death is preferred.
